Hey dude, thats quite a kool tutorial u got there. But, one thing i wanna chip in is this, why would someone wanna disable hidden files n folders in his PC? Personally, I wouldnt wanna do that 'cos I know that I wouldbe jeopardizing my provacy. Apart from that, I hope that aint got anything to do with disabling the HIDE PROTECTED OPERATING SYSTEM FILES (RECOMMENDED). That aint gonna be too kool should anyone try that.

Might be worthwhile to do this on a computer that you share with someone else, though. Keeps the little sister out of your stuff...

Other than that, I can't see the reason for removing the option to hide or not... Great & Simple tutorial though!

If your not an advanced windows user i suggest you stay away from windows registry! Because if you edit a file without mistake you can corrupt your system meaning you will have to install windows over again.

I checked what was running, and it wasn't listed anywhere in the Task Manager. Next I did a
virus scan, and ran Ad Aware, and Spybot S&D without any results. Rebooting didn't help either.
I did some searching, and found out this isn't an uncommon problem with XP. It turns out the
program using it was probably Windows Explorer. Rather than trying to delete it in ....
