Just so you know, I don't promote drug taking at all, the words 'acid trip' are meant to secure the thought of creativity and reality melting together. Don't do drugs, stay in school. I'm also NOT very good at Illustrator, and only use it to make logos, I'm used to photoshop. My first attempt at Illustrator was this, I haven't used it very often for these kinds of things, anyways here it is:

karlosantana LOL. Thanks. I never usually post my art up on websites and stuff, but thanks for saying nice things...It really made me feel good about myself. I still have the original illustrator file, I might make a tutorial if people are interested enough.

Wow. I'm amazed. In such a short period of time? Do you mind if I take the 'acid trip' logo and print it on a bag I have to make for GCSE textiles? I won't be making money, I'll just need a design idea. For educational purposed, if you like. P.S I love abstract things as well, in fact, I have a band and our name consists of the word 'abstract'

I knew there was some talented artist here on our forums. I really like the first one, the colors are so vivid and the design is just awsome. Can anyone tell me if illustrator is what freehand used to be? I mean I've used freehand before and everysince adobe took over macromedia I dont know what happen to it. Illustrator seems to be similar to freehand. So how long have you been doing art? I'm just curious, I have a few friends who are artist and I'm kinda jealous of them in a way  , they get to draw and create all day.

I would recommend that you get yourself a deviart art profile and upload your designs and what not. I have a deviantart account, thats how I got most of my jobs. I honestly (and I'm not lying) love white space. In almost every abstract thing you'll ever see me do, there'll be a big background all white. It's what brings the attention to the artwork, in my opinion and creates space for things to slightly collide (like the deadness touching the purple circle)...This picture was also done for a design for a laptop skin and ipod skins and stuff (as the design descends, it wraps around the object, you see). and I don't use brushes lol...I do all of the drawings myself, but thanks anyway. I knew someone would say there's too much background lol. =( I don't think anyone really understands my style.

I have to say not bad at all nice vector designs and stuff only comment I have though is that you have to much white space, and I would think you could pull off the same design in a much smaller scale to remove some of the dead space. Of course you could just keep adding to the design you currently have and what not, I have very great vector brushes I can give you for the photoshop part of the design. (7) Well I finally seen this movie after it's second week out ( I think ), I will put it like this
my review is going to be rather short because it was just like the first one. Once the movie got
going it was over, it needed more background story especially on the Silver Surfer and who he was
working for. Of course if you ever read the comics and the first cartoon that came out for the
Fantastic Four you will realize who it is that the Silver Surfer is working for. The only saving
grave for this movie really was that there was more action then the first one, however, ....

Good or bad? (0) Ok well my friend and i were going to see this movie lastnight... but instead we went to blockbuster
to watch draqula 2000... ok movie well anyways she said the reviews on the movie were bad so we
didnt go see it, and usually i dont trust their reviews... so was the movie good or not, because i

Adobe Illustrator ?
(2) I've always used photoshop for everything. It has always seemed to me to be the best program
ever But now that I have used illustrator in my animation classes, I'm starting to wonder
whether or not I should start saving up some money to buy it because it's soooo good and I can
edit things easily. I've never heard of that many people who use it though, is it not good or
