not really a fan, but this map is one of my ever played maps which are so few. This place is good, but I fear of those snippers here with their capability, and this is the place better for CT I think.

I think Dust is about the best map there is in CS (from the standarts). It always has fun gameplay, espessially on WarCraft3 mod servers I think.

I reckon that the dust map is one of the best maps alond with dust 2.. I enjoy playing the ct though because it gives you more of a challenge, because you have to defuse the bomb and rescue the hostages.. So i think that the cts are the more challenging side.. The only bad thing is that you cant get the AK-47 which is the best gun ever..

de_dust was originally made as a competitive map. Only couple of years ago it was taken away from tournaments and was completely replaced by dust2. By popularity de_aztec still beats de_dust/2 but it is still one of the most favoured maps in the game.
Between I can't remember excatly the guy's name that created it but he is called the "genius" of mapping, he is the best and his creations can be seen in many other games other than cs.

I never was a true fan of dust, mainly because it was a ct sided map...same as dust2 pretty much...but hey, most maps in CS are sided on one side or the other...like italy is sided for Ts, Nuke is CT sided, assault is definitely T sided. I wish they would release maps that are even on both sides. That would make the game more competitive and interesting I think.

Dust 2 is actually pretty good, as the T's have quite a few ways to approach the bomb sites, so it's not easy for the CT's always to cover both. I've seen it as more of a Terrorist map rather than a CT one. Dust is way too CT orientated, especially on public servers, where it's near impossible to get your T team to rush.

I reckon Inferno is the fairest map that's on just about every rotation...

I love de_dust2 it is the best cs map but i and my friend have started to do own maps.
Some maps we have done is aim_normandie, aim_mapa, awp_mapa.
Does anyone do your own maps here??
