Well the actual physical death is scary. I mean the literal pain of dying, that I am afraid of. I mean it not guaranteed to bee painful... but still... Other than that.... I don't know man... death happens... and I have something to look forward to when I'm gone

i never saw a man die in my whole life [yet].. and the idea of dying gives me mixed emotions.. when i visualize myself dying i feel: sad - |missing important things in the future | never seeing my loved ones again | never a chance to cherish again the things i am fond of | never have the chance to fulfill my ambitions happy - | dying is the ultimate solution to a man's unending problems yet taking suicide is another story | joy of realizing that your agony is gonna end | happy to be free of worries and anxiety | fear - | losing everything you had worked for | never seeing your family again | to die painfully | dying with uncertainty of what is beyond life | that is how i see death..many people may feel the same too.. but as all of us know - never be afraid to face death, be ready for it, be happy to meet our Creator

Physically, it would be terribly horrifying. But, dying on your on will (suicide, preparation) is not all that bad. If your christian, you would be looking forward to different aspects of after-life communites. (Heaven, etc.) Basically, not seeing your family and friends would be like suicide to some people, including me. Thing is, it's nature, you can't stop it. Dying = Fate. I have seen....well....some people dead. (Car accidents, uncles, etc.) I really dislike talking about these topics but it gives me a feeling inside, don't you get it? ~Akito

The thought of dying and not being a part of this existence any longer makes me sad actually. There is so much that I hope to experience and probably won't, so many things to see and do. The world is changing so much and so very quickly. Every day there are new discoveries and more new dicoveries are happening faster and faster as we progress scientifically. So many breakthroughs in technology, physics and medicine, just as an example, in the last few years and each breakthrough speeds up the research towards another breakthrough. I can't even begin to imagine what the next 50 years will bring or how much our humanity and society will change over that time. But I sure would like to be here to see and experience it.

Discovers ARE expanding one by one....so will be....is tech going to get advanced? You might ask these questions: QUOTE Will robots take over the world? Will the world end at a date?? QUOTE Yet, due to our world's pollution, average life span around the world would be in 30's to 53's for a average adult life form. Akito where did you find this information? I'd like to read the article if there is one. QUOTE But will never live to get the solutions to them, that is what some people are scared of also I really strongly believe that a cure for cancer will be found within my lifetime. Already many forms of cancer are highly treatable if the cancer is found early enough. With all the reserach that's going on, I have high hopes for not only cures for different types of cancer but also being able to prevent them. As for robots and the date the world will end, I'm not worried about that, but maybe I should be.

Death
It will come to all, but you needent fear (4) Death. That is the one thing people fear most. More than pain, hate, losing your keys, even going
mad. But why? Why are people afraid of a new adventure. A chance to restart? It's because you
don't actually know what is going to happen. You believe and hope, if you are a christian,
that you/they will go to heaven. You hope you/they wont suffer. But the only actual way to proove
this is to die. It is strange - when people are resucitated they don't remember anything of
death. Why? We will never know. But one thing should be certain - you needen't fear....
Six Charged In Death Of Pregnant Alton Woman
This is just disturbing. (3) Link Ok, so a 43 year old pregnant woman was tortured to death at the hands of 6 people,
including a 12 year old. She was shot with a BB gun and burned with hot liquid, among other things.
The 6 people are being charged for QUOTE homicide of an unborn child, heinous battery, unlawful
restraint, and first degree murder. My thoughts: What the hell is wrong with people these days?
Honestly? Even if the dead woman was a *****, you don't hit a pregnant woman. These people must
be mentally handicapped to do something so insane. This ordeal is just horrifying.....

Grandfather Bashed To Death With His Own Cricket Bat
Killed on Christmas Day in front of his children (7) Do some people have no shame? http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21...332-948,00.html On
Christmas night, a family were innocently playing beach cricket when a mob of 25 people started
provoking them. First, they started stealing beer from their esky, so the man's soon to be son
in law told them off, but they got violent and slashed at his face with a broken bottle, smashing
his jaw, collarbone and required something like 30 stitches. So the family went to the car to take
the man to hospital when the group started chucking beer bottles, pebbles, sticks and t....
Life Beyond Death
(10) I’m a very spiritual person. I believe in life after death (not karma), that there is life beyond
this world we’re living in. I’ve read and heard a lot of people who’s had Near Death Experiences
(NDEs). One man said he flew over New York City, went into his own home and watched his family ate
dinner while he was on his death bed because of a freak accident. He narrated the story exactly the
way it happened, what he heard and saw, and his family testified that it was all true. The man
recovered and is now a Good Christian. I’m a Christian too, brought up as one. Maybe t....
Death Or Unconsciousness In Dreams
(2) I will start off sharing a story, because the topic title really doesn't explain what I mean.
Okay, so I had a seemingly typical, abstract, thriller-movie dream a few months ago. I was sticking
next to a person around whom I was unlikely to get shot by the guys following me, and we somehow end
up trapped, and I'm forced to choose a way for my captor to kill me. I choose the thing that
involves eating something that looks like tea leaves, popped rice, and orange rinds, which is
apparently some sort of drug. So my captor gives me the poison and some water, and tel....

Third Day Of Death
Short Story (0) I've started writing a short story. Very harsh. The wind buffeted his frail body. He was
not alone. Alongside him, their now worthless lives on the line, were several others. They knew each
other not by name, but by number. They as people did not exist. They had been baptised as a
numerical code. Foot marks in the putrid mud slowly disappeared under a tide of murky slurry. They
no longer cared, that they were no longer trudging through the bog in shoes, but in scraps of cloth.
They need not care for their loved ones, whom had been directed upon arrival to the ....
Do You Believe In Life After Death? What Are Your Personal Feelings About It?
(23) There are aguments on the philosophical, scientific and religious sides of life after death and not
one person can come to a definitive conclusion. Of course not! Nobody has ever REALLY come back
from the dead to tell us what happened to him/her after they died. Every argument is speculation.
Every religion has it's own teachings of death and the hereafter and I don't feel this is
something that anyone should argue with. We are taught a specific belief and nobody should ever tell
us we are wrong because it is our way and we are entitled to that way. Persona....
For Life Or Death
An expirience that can change ones life in an instant (1) |18AUG17 Hood River, Oregon 13:41| People change, grow, and adapt to their current
situations and surroundings. Life is just one giant puzzle, but none of the pieces ever seam to fit;
when they finally do you are in control with total happiness and understanding. Over the years I’ve
watched myself grow and learn; picking up useful skills such as patience and respect. I’ve learned
that life yet only temporary has so much potential and meaning. The value for ones well being and
respect for their passion is something we take for granted. Not everyone is perfect an....
As I Lay Dying
Faulkner's Classic (1) Has anyone here read "As I Lay Dying"? by William Faulkner. I recently had to read it for a
literature class at the U. At first I was put off by the style it was written. (it had about 15
characters narrate the book). I guess it grew on me eventually, It was about a southern american
family who tried to fulfill a mother's (and wifes) wish to be burried in a nearby city. Sounds a
bit boring, but it was interesting, and I'm not even really into fiction anymore. at any rate,
if anyone has any thoughts about this book i suppose this is the place. ....
The Truth About Resuscitation
Human cells can live over an hour without oxygen (1) SOURCE: URL: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18368186/site/newsweek/ The common belief that the human
body can only last a short period of time without oxygen is being proven false. According to
studies some cells lasted as long as an hour without oxygen before deteriorating. What makes it even
more interesting is the fact that it's the re-oxygenation that is killing the cells; the cell
receives too much oxygen too fast and shuts down. Some doctors believe it's an anti-cancer
reaction to a abnormal function of the cell. So really an anti-cancer mechanism may be r....

Is There Life After Death?
(42) I am a catholic man. I always welcome to my house people of different religious beliefs. I listen to
them. More often, they emphasize the credibility of their bible interpretations. The existence of
their congregation. I don't argue with them. After everything has been read and interpreted, I
ask them one simple question. Always this one question. IS THERE LIFE AFTER DEATH? I don't
want to argue line by line about the bible. I only want some answers to prove that there is life
after death. Because if this question nemains evaded, I don't think bible reading....
Mmorpg Vs. Rpg
Is the traditional RPG a dying genre? (5) Even though I grew up with an Atari (yes, I'm that old, but I was only like 3 or so when my
parents bought it) and my brother had an NES, my first console was the PlayStation and the game that
kept me up all night for weeks on end was Final Fantasy VII. I would sometimes go to school without
having slept at all. For me, an avid book reader, it was like being the main character in a book,
experiencing the plot unfold around me. It's been over 10 years since then, and no other RPG has
lived up to that experience for me, but the RPG is still my game of choice. Ever ....

Slobodan Milosevic Found Dead In Cell
... natural death or suicide ... (14) QUOTE AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Slobodan Milosevic, the former Yugoslav leader branded "the
butcher of the Balkans" for orchestrating a decade of wars that eventually broke up his country and
led to his war crimes trial, was found dead in his prison cell Saturday. Milosevic, 64, apparently
died of natural causes, the U.N. tribunal said. He was found dead in his bed at the U.N. detention
