I'm also worried about the lesser activity in the Graphics Forum. We've got great designers like Saint Michael, Mich, truefusion, avalon, kubi, Snlildude87, Sylenzednuke but still there is lesser involvement in the Graphics forum and the participation in the SOTW is really bad. Comeon guys freshen up, lets make this section of trap17 buzz with activity and lets get the SOTW, SOTM and Tournaments back

Yes. Let's hear some new ideas from new perspectives. Creating new sig tournaments every week is tough. It was originally proposed sig tournament of the month or so. And perhaps expanding from just sig to something bigger might be a good start? And once again, let's not be consumed by hosting credits giveaways. Do compete for the competition sake. The forum is yours...

I see the graphics contests more like the way for getting fresh ideas. I've found many new techniques when working on the design contests. It also inspires a lot gives idea of how people think and how creative they are. It helps us to learn a lot more and show our skills to others. and I don't think that people who are participating in the Graphics contests are for points or credits they are here because they love what they are doing

I will most definitely TRY to participate in some new tournaments.. however, I don't plan on participating in signature tournaments... as far as I am concerned, I don't enjoy creating signatures because: everyone else is doing, and they are becoming monotonous. I will gladly participate in other tournaments though  .

Forum Member's Town Suffers Tornado
Wind and rain damage is extensive. (10) Just got back on line. Things have been quite a mess here for the last few days. On
Thursday night June 12th we had a tornado and 80+ mile-an-hour winds in my town. The tornado
evidently didn't touch all the way down to ground level as only very old, tall trees were
toppled or uprooted. Falling trees caused much damage to houses, cars, power lines and telephone
lines. Lost electric power for over 20 hours at my house and others still don't have power.
Thank heaven NObody was reported injured. The torrents of rain that accompanied this storm pounde....
Looking For Developers To Help With A Forum Software
(5) Ok so as the topic title says i'm looking for some Developers to help with a forum software.
Just a little back ground on the software. It was started back in 2005, and has been sold 2 times,
the second time which was a few months ago the owner abandoned the project and left it to die.
(which it did) Now under the Licensen it says that you are aloud to make a forked version of the
software, and once you have changed over 50% you may remove all refrence of the orginal script. So

for example, a gaming forum. There's already too too many gaming forum that popular, and why
people must join mine if there are already a better one? Then, lets say about a forum focused on

Building A Forum Under Another Web Site?
(7) Hello, Im going to set up a simple website to use with my buddies. A main page where I can update
from time to time and a forum are all I need. I know WYSIWYG builders, ftp uploaders and forum
moderating. Im thinking of using phpBB since it's free and seems simple and reliable, right?
My question is can I build the forum on my local computer then upload to hosting service? The
readme.txt recomends to install online in host machine. And this is what I need to do, right?

(4) I'd like to suggest a freelance coders forum or subforum under Internet. I know a few popular
sites where people go to hire programmers, web designers, etc. I don't like the open bidding
system, though, where coders are bidding down their price so low that they're not going to make

My Confusion About Dead/non-existence
(12) I've been thinking to myself about this for quite a while now. And finally I'm giving up on
trying to figure it out for myself. Death. Being dead. Not existing the the human realm. I keep
trying to imagine if the human race never existed, if I never existed, where would "I" be. As a
conscience being it's impossible for me to imagine "me" not existing. This is one of the only

Can One Transplant Dead Harddrive?
(6) My harddrive just died. I heard the death sound of the click, click, and the harddrive spin down.
Not to worry, there was nothing important that I cannot replace on the harddrive. What is sad is
