| | Just in case there are questions about it, this is a reminder to check the Clock settings of your computer and also the Time Zone settings on all of the Forums you attend.
Some Forums do not allow for Timezone and Daylight Savings Time to be adjusted automatically. |

Where I am in Aust, we are divided over the DST issue that some states doesnt adopt Daylight savings. In my case, the state where i from (Queensland) is one of the few that doesnt adopt DST.

That's pretty interesting. Luckily everything I have reset itself, well not the house clocks and watch but my computer did as well as my phone. I heard that around here they were thinking of making it Daylight Savings Time all the time and keep the daylight always out longer. Now it's gonna get dark here around 6 which has it's pluses and minuses.

I remembered to switch all the clocks back one hour, but.... only after I saw that Good Morning America's clock was an hour behind mine. Good old GMA!

I like that I can actually walk home in the SUN for a little while.... I work overnight. The past month, it's been dark until 7:30, half an hour after I get off from Timmies...

I love this DST - I've got an essay due in for tomorrow and I've got an extra hour to do it. And I managed to grab an extra hour of sleep, so if I stay up and extra hour doing said essay then I won't be as knackered tomorrow. Win for all!

It's nice because now I can go to the bus stop in the morning and it's not 30 degrees out. The extra sleep was nice.

Yeah i actually forgot all about it until i checked my cell phone and i noticed it was a hour earlier that the rest of the clocks in my house. This extra hour of sleep better be a big help because i have 4 tests to do tomorrow.

Im very glad that I got an extra hour of sleep today. Even though I totally forgot to change my clock and set it one hour back. Although it feels kinda weird that the sun is way up already when you wake up. And also the night seems a lot longer than it was.

Be interesting to see how that goes. Although starting it that late down under may eventually have a debate over the use of power, etc etc.. Interestingly enough, Western Aust is considering trialling DST in December - April IIRC for 3 years.

Yeah I noticed that, it wass all over the media here in Slovenia for the past two, three days and if anyone forgot to turn the clocks then it is his problem...However, I do not agree with that thing, because i doubt that anything is spared using this system...Well we all got used to it and we just have to live with it.. greetz

Did you all hear the news that they are moving daylight savings to November next year. I guess to adjust the whole earth rotation or something like that. I guess it has to do with calender check the wiki site as to why that is.

Sunday morning I was out fixing my car (a bolt fell off of my water pump pulley, causing the belt that powers the water and power steering pump to stop) and I looked at my phone, thinking it had updated automatically. I had to be at work at 11, and it was 10:50. I closed my hood, ran inside, changed, and started to call my neighbor to see if I could get a ride, and then looked at my cable clock and saw that it was 9:50. I went outside and fixed my car, and got to work perfectly on time

update together in the same time (1) I have a problem in PHP. When more than one client update something in database, they won't

(48) No seriously, I've been using Firefox since 0.x releases. I loved it. Every release, despite
having no huge features, was a great update. Version 3, however, totally messes everything up. Its

Problems At Boot Time
(11) After installing a new 2.8 GHZ P4 my computer will not boot. All fans spin but no POST. Another
interesting fact is that my CD-ROM will not power up either (works on my old 333mhz system though).
Reading around I've learned that the problem is either: 1)mother board 2)CPU 3)PSU I have tried
it with a brand new MB but no success, still no POST. Is it possible that my cheap 425watt PSU will
not generate enough power for this new CPU (even though it successfully powered my 2GHZ celeron)?
Unfortunately, the pins on the older Celeron got bent so I cannot test with this....
