So sorry for your loss man I hope your dad was a good man and maybe what happened was for the better. I can't say i know how you feel because even my grandparents a alive so I haven't experienced death so close up but I would like to give my condolences and would like to tell your mom to keep faith in the one god and just hang on.

Wow, what a tragedy. You have my condolences and sympathy for your loss. Give your mother a hug for me. I don't know what else to say to you. Perhaps this will help somewhat. It will take courage to face this world without your father, but God will be with you all. BTW my grandmother, who raised me until I was 6, passed from an enlarged heart long before they had medication for this condition.Edit: So your dad was a firefighter. What an honorable occupation. My daugher is also a volunteer firefighter for the small village where she lives. I am certain that the family fund will provide all five of you children with proper educations. People will be very willing to donate for the children of such a public service minded person as your dad. Good Luck in the future.

Wow, no one your age should have to deal with something like that. You know it could have been prevented, but so can so many others things so don't feel bad that you didn't do anything to prevent it. Just bad luck is all I can say. You'll be in my prayers. Best of luck to you and your family

I am so, so sorry. But let this be a lesson to ALL of us. You can never be to careful. This should teach all of us something. Hopefully your dad was a good Christian man, who will live for eternity in the Lord Jesus Christ. My prayers are with you. Now by how old your dad is, I can tell you are not much older than me. No one should lose their father this early in life. You and your family have loving and caring people here at trap17. May your father rest in peace, and may he have a grand time in Heaven.

It is sooooo... sad when someone in your family dies but everyone must die, and you can't get over it, unlike some people that say stuff like ... Oh, it'll be alright. well it isn't alright and it'll never be. So unless someone can find the fountain of youth we are all going to die at some stage. For those people who loose their family members, I suggest to you that you should always be prepared for a death. what happens is meant to happen, changing it will create a whole new parrallel universe

I hope your alright, I have lost family, but none that I was close too, so I really can't understand what your going thought, but I know its bad. My Dad lost his mom, when he was 14 years old, but I wasen't even born, so i really can't know how it feels. Hope it turns out alright, don't allow it to take you over.
