Hey All, I am running IPB 2.0 Forum. I want to add a BBCode for Moderators and Admins. (like the one here on Trap 17) when they Post a comment or Edit a topic. You can search for custom BBcodes in Invisionize.com. But basically, it's like this: You go into your ACP, administrator control panel, and go to the section called Custom BBcodes. And select Custom BBcodes manager and just create a new one. They are written using a simple HTML codes. So create DIV and IMG SRC etc to make your "NOTE" tag.

For example, I made a BBcode called Gallery. I wrote it like this <img src="{content}"> and the tag argument is [ gallery]{content}[ /gallery]. You get the basic idea.

microscopic^earthling has a tutorial or two on AstaHost's forum on how he made the [ note ] tag and a few others. If I ever overcome my laziness, I'll find you a link to it. From what I read, the code to do it is a little complex - and that's just for a 14 year old who doesn't really know any languages aside from HTML.

Yep thats like me 14 years old and I know most HTML and BBCodes and stuff, but more management, you can see my topic, here it has the link and its like the exact same thing as what you want.
