Just a suggestion, and i'm pretty sure somebody else has probably already posted something to this effect. Just wanted to see if any moderators or higher level staff here would be interested in this kind of idea. |

Yeah I think this will be a nice idea of having a shop like....and which will allow people to not only have these kind of benefits some fun kind of stuff as well....like allowing people to change their member level to something else...or lot other stuff....may be other members will be able to give some more suggestions to the fun stuff which can be added.

I like the idea but I do not like the amounts. I doubt that anyone on this forum has 3,000 hosting credits and if they did we wouldn't see them for a few years  . The idea of getting rid of the ads I do not like because the ads pay for this service. Would you rather have the ads on your site?

The points for the domain registertaion may work, but I'm not sure about the ad-removal thing, that would take away a large amount of the forums' income. Maybe you could exchange credits for extra army gold etc. Up to the admins in the end, but I don't see why it shouldn't work..... (Anyhoo, if you download this browser and download this this extension you can remove all ads on all sites for free  )

Not a bad idea but the point of trap 17 I think is to keep people posting. If someone comes and sells a few domains, thus makes 4000 credits he would never have to post for several years. How ever I think it would be a great idea if Trap17 started the store and once you have received lets say 2000 points you could for example purchase a domain with your credits. This would prevent people from selling things and not having to post. Great Idea though.

think GFX crew, mods, spam patrol, and other should get a small bonus to there credits per post. So,

I can't believe that I just thought of it. (11) I can't believe I just thought of after so long of being here. this is a simple code it terms
of the idea but implentmenting it could be a challange but of course that would depend what need to
be involoved. To help people get good posts we should implent a credit counter somewhere in the
post saying how much the post is worth. This way people can either edit their post to add on to it

eon here every single day and think of something new to post. Its really hard and a long procress
since you don't get credits in the forums that are easy to think of stuff to post. You have to

Things To Appear On Every Page
Credit Count, Search BOX (not link) (5) I've asked about this before, and I feel that I got a subpar response for the first item. So can
we have a credit counter on every page? With the amount of queries IPB is making to the DB anyways,
it shouldn't really hurt. Also, having a search box on all pages is really a timesaver, and also
a bandwidth saver. I find that the search page loads slowly, so it would be an excellent
consideration. I still love Trap17, even if it doesn't have these features.....

Not just the home page (11) I've always noticed that you could only view your credits by going to the home page of the
forum, but didn't really think of having it anywhere else until now. My idea is to put the
little hosting credits box on every page (maybe a slightly minimixed version of it, without all of

This will help forum profits! (3) I suggest that you make it possible for people to buy credits. The credits should be cheaper than
actual paid hosting. I think this is a good idea becuase users can post their way to getting 10
credits, but to keep their hosting they can buy, say, 100 credits. Then 100 days later they can buy

Negative Hosting Credits Suggestion
(0) im suggesting that there should be a limit that your credits can go into the negatives. a while ago
i was really busy with school, sports, and everyday stuff. during this time, i did not have much
time to get online and i stopped going to this site for awhile. now i am back and want to get my
site back up so i can try some things. the thing is, my credits are way below zero. currently im at
-31 hosting credits. and you need 5 credits to get your site back up (i think its 5, not sure). i
was thinking that it might be an okay idea if you put a limit to how far your credits....

To let you know when you are almost out of credits (4) Hi Everyone. I have a suggestion which quite possibly have been suggested before. My suggestion is
to have an e-mail reminder sent out to users who's hosting credits are below, lets say, 4
points. that way, users who can not return to the forums frequently could still be aware of their
credit status and avoid account suspension, it will also help bring back members to the forums to
post. Another option, which sounds best to me but might be harder to acheive, is to create a small

Cool idea (5) Ok My idea is to make quizs and if you pass it you get 10-20 cridets depeding on your score. I
really think this would work because i like it on other sites and it's easyer for members to
