Does anyone think it would be a good idea to make a Wikipedia article about Trap17, in case anyone
wants to know more about it? I searched for an article on Wikipedia about this site but
couldn't find any based on Trap17. What do you think?...

I just now noticed that the flash banner at the top of trap17's home page has an error. It says
"THE BEST YOU CAN FIND ON WEB". Obviously it should read "on THE web" since "the web" is the phrase
always used to refer to the internet, and not just web. This is about as major and noticeable a
mistake as the site could make, so I think this especially needs to get fixed....

I noticed there was a typo in the Rules because of them being quoted in this topic:

Now days, free hosting can be seen on all places. But free domains are given only by a few sites or
with big hosting plans. Also "Free Domain" catches a popular search keyword. You can provide free
domains for 80 or 120 credits. Iam sure that this will increase trap17 popularity as well as its

Well why CAN'T we have a pet section such as for fish, birds, dogs, cats, etc? I mean I'm
sure there are many pet lovers out there (me being one) who would want a section like this. Some of
you might know this site: fishforums.net. It's a very active and popular fish/aquatics site for
info and many things. Why can't we have it here? In this fish section could also be an aquatic

I'm always annoyed on forums, by people who don't have avatars or images in their signature
to identify themselves. Topics with rows after rows of people talking with nothing but their
name's to identify themselves gets abit tiresome. Maybe it's because I've become lazy,
but the only real forum members I can remember are ones with distinguishing avatars/sigs. The rest
are just a blur of random names- even if they have over 500 posts. That's why I think it should

Trap17 Radio My suggestion today is maybe a Trap17 radio. Not like a radio
where someone talks, just like there are multiple DJ's and they play music. Then there could be
a request box where members can put requests for the DJ's to play. We could embed a realplayer
into the page so you know what song is playing, etc. If the DJ is not taking requests, they can put
a message above the request box saying "The DJ is currently NOT taking requests." The DJ must supply
their own music, equipment, and have a high speed internet connection with fire...

Maybe trap17 should make a special code, when requested you can add it to your side and an add of
trap 17 is added at the top of your page. Each time the add is viewed you get 0.01 credits....

How about that Trap17 limits maximum number of posts that you can get credits for in one day? My
suggestion would be limiting posts that count for credits at 3 a day /rolleyes.gif"

Hi I Have some suggetions for Posting credit reward 1) a free .com domain redirection facility 2)
increase bandwidth and space and add some extra features to account. i know you provide a .com
domain for 250 credits but it would be more attractive if u can just provide a .com redirection to
existing subdomain for 100 or more credits.add some extra features for 50-100 credits. Also There

Well after receiving a free book for ASP.net 2.0 and of course looking around for some decent ASP

recently was thinking about starting another trap17 subdomain, but i dont think i'm going to do

I can't believe I just thought of after so long of being here. this is a simple code it terms
of the idea but implentmenting it could be a challange but of course that would depend what need to
be involoved. To help people get good posts we should implent a credit counter somewhere in the
post saying how much the post is worth. This way people can either edit their post to add on to it
if they can (of course it has to be legit and all that). Also it will help learn that that better

I think Trap17 's forum should be changed to Simple Machines instead of Invision Power Board ,
Simple Machines is easier to use , simple and quick as well as the quality is better than Invision

I know that my suggestions are purely unnecessary, they may improve the image of the Hosting account
Center (all of the pages under http://www.trap17.com/process) . I thought that a few changes could
be made to the design and function of those pages: -Provide a login common to all pages - instead of
typing your username and password at each task page, have users log in upon the access of
http://www.trap17.com/process/ , and present a task list. -Beautify the pages a wee bit - add a bit
of layout, and add some design elements - even just a banner similar to the one at t...

First you should a selection of nice skins. This skin gets boring after a while. You'll get more
members if you have good skins. You should also have armysystem and arcade etc... so that members
can playing games after they are done posting.......

Need to make things more obvious make it easier to navigate...

It would be very much helpful if we can make a detailed documentation/user guide for Trap17. That
should include: 1-Logging in, posting, getting approval for hosting. 2-Setting up account 3-How to
use the cpanel etc. In my opinion, that should be an all-in-one document which can give answer to
all of our queries. And that would contain screen-shots wherever possible.(I have phpbb used guide
in my mind while writing this). I believe everybody will be interested to keep a copy printed for

I sometimes see trap17 members complaining about spending hours a day in an attempt to sustain
hosting credits. This is especially true in the reviews. It really isn't that hard. Here's
my advice on doing so efficiently. 1. The number of posts you make at trap17 doesn't determine
how many credits you receive. The staff even announced it, and it should be quite obvious, really.
