Yes, as I changed to use Linux only, I haven't tried it in a while. I will give it a shot as soon as Wine (Windows emulator) wants to work. |

Nice bump. Almost anything, from simple games (like pacman) to more avanced ones, even possibly some of the better 3d games of the last few years. Not at the moment however, but if someone would write an api for something like orge3d (for example), then.... It's got an extension interface, and using it I've seen GM's capabilities extend 10 fold.

Most of the successful game maker were never taught anything, they just experimented and learned the tricks. Programming takes a lot of determination, no matter what language you use, unless of course, it's some drag-and-drop program.

What Skills Are Required To Make Games?
(16) Helo, i just want to know what kind of skills do you need to make games with these programs that are
out there? like do you have to create you character from scratch or is there a render where you can
just color it and edit it? is any language required, like c++ or javascript or what? i havent tried

(4) A few people have talked about the difficulties inherent in making a professional looking game. In
my opinion it is much more how a game looks then how it plays. My girlfriend really enjoys burger
time which was made for the first Nintendo. However, she mostly enjoys thinking games, like free

Creating A Text Mmorpg?
(5) Anyone looking to make a game? Well Gamers-Fusion is a widely used open source project hosted by
www.sourceforge.net its got all the nesicary things to start the game, though it does have many
flaws to start. But thats the fun part, as i started learning PHP as i started a game using this.
