| | I created a hosting account sometime this afternoon. I was able to go in and look around the cpanel, but I didn't do anything. However, a few hours later, I was unable to login. The ftp login using cmd was fine but the cpanel login at www.trap17.com/cpanel failed. I wasted 10 credits changing the password. Please enlighten me.
I apologize for using File-> save on the hosting account create page. It didn't manage to save my account info. Where can I get them again? |

Trouble Logging Into Cpanel
(0) When i go to the cpanel page for my account, internet explorer tells me the that it doesn't have
certain certificates to prove authentication. So i think "fine, no big deal lets carry on anyway",
so i continue and a login in window pops up i enter my details.. nothing, again... nothing, again

forgot my password, but I have it written down, and it worked a few times before :/ I did recently
change my domain, does that effect the username? If it is my fault and I just forgot something, is

I Can't Login With Firefox And Other Problems
(7) I am having a problem: When trying to login with firefox, I just can't, it takes me back to the
login page without being loged in. I am wondering why? Plus while logging in with IE6, The forums
main page is always displayed the same. Not even the forum but the whole forum. I can't see my
posts nor my credits. And PMs inclueded. I tried deleting all offline pages, setting up the cookies
and deleting all my history sites, but none of this work. Perhaps it's because I newly installed
Google Web accelerator. I don't need it, so I am thinking of uninstalling i....
Login Bug
Keeps asking me to input a password (6) I do not know if any of you have occurred this problem while trying to login to Trap17, but I did. I
go through the normal login steps, entering the username and password before clicking the submit
button, and expecting to be logged in into the forum. But it always brings me to the error page,
prompting me to key in my password, but my password is already in the password field. Although this
is a minor glitch, but it is getting kinda irritating especially since I always login using my
company's computer.....

without signing in (4) everytime i come to this forum i have to log back in why is this? it cant be a problem on my end

Server Status Link Without Loggin Into Cpanel
(1) Is there a link page in Trap17.com or in Xisto.com to check the server status without logging in?
I'd need that to make a shortcut link from my homepage and probably in my signature to check the
server status on the spot and it'd save me time from logging into cPanel. Also, if the server
is down, cPanel would probably be down as well. Hence there's no other ways that I know of that
is able to check for server status. So is there an alternative way or link to that for public use?....

Can't Access Cpanel From Work
Just wondering if anyone knows any trick (4) I work @ ratshack. While I'm here, I want to be able to work on my site, but I can't access
cpanel. I think it has to be our proxy. Does anyone have any advice on how to get around this. I
can't exactly ask the support team for RS as I'm not technically supposed to be doing

cPanel Url Gives A Blank Page
blank page after i log-in to cPanel (1) I am using cpanel at http://forsakenfury.trap17.com/cpanel and now nothing appears! what i
did was go to the file manager, and upload a few .htm files, these files wouldn't finish and
they were small so I got out of it. now every time i try to return to the cpanel it asks for my name
and password, but when i enter them in, it takes me to a blank page. The site works still but i

New Uploads Does Not Update
Is it a bug in cPanel? (4) Hi, I've noticed that whatever things I've uploaded into my hosting account, it doesn't
update. Only after I open directly from cPanel and then click Refresh manually, the newly uploaded
stuffs will then be updated. Or else it will still stick to the old files even on another computer
or with history and cache deleted. Simply clicking on the direct URL will also not update. This
problem I've noticed from the time when I first got this webhosting account. I though there
might be a problem in the server and might recover afew moments later. But it doesn....

my username and password is incorrect... (0) I accidently let the number of hosting days go to a (-) # of days, and then i brought it back up to
a (+) number of days. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time or something before my account is

(1) When I delete forum from cpanel its still on my ftp and I can delete it from there.I dont know if

(5) Hello, I don't know if this has been suggested before or not, but I think that my Cpanel
Username shouldn't be shown on my profile. This is potential problem; anyone that knows my site
may visit this forum, access my profile and therefore get my cpanel username . I know, there is the

(6) I can't access it anymore! I'm typing in the right password... It just goes to a blank
white page. I tried to get in to fix my forum, it says my database won't work. I just got my

Cpanel Says I Have Package 1 (2) When I applied for hosting I asked for package 2. Instead, when I logged into my Cpanel I got

Question About Ip Deny In Cpanel
(9) I'm trying to ban ALL IP's that begin with 205.204 (All the computers at my school). I tried
to use * as a "wildcard" for it, but Cpanel removed it. If I just use 205.204 will it still block
all those? If not, then will I have to enter all the combinations by myself? I'd like to know,
because there's some really annoying people coming on my site from school, so I really need to
