Advanced Tools - Cron JobsWith this Cron Job's feature, you can set the server to automatically do tasks that you do not feel like doing every day, every week, every month, or how ever often you want it done. SO if you are skilled enough, you can look into this and schedule the server to do things on a daily basis.  - Mine TypesWith this feature, you can tell the server what type of files you can open with your server. Or just how certain extensions are handled in the server.  - Apache HandlersThis feature will tell the server how to treat certain files on the server.  - Manage Open PGP keysI don't know what this is for but according to google it is used for a secure communication online.  - Networking ToolsWith this feature, you can look-up the DNS Settings for another website, you can also look up the server Ip address. You can also trace a route between you and the server but that feature is disabled on trap17 currently.  - SSL ManagerSSL manager will let you make SSL Certificates on the server as well as install things that require SSL which is basically an extra layer of protection for peoples personal information if you are collecting any.

Have you ever bought something online? and you see a symbol, or text that says something that says SSL or somthing on it..... well i think it has to do with the extra saftey encryption of private information... lol thanx it took me a few days to type this all up, cut the images, then write it up in BB code but i think it was worth the post because so far no one has flamed the post -knocks on wood- or the other 6 parts of the tutorial so that's a plus i suppose :S

very good tutorial but i feel that you could have maybe gone into each one a bit more like how to set cron jobs etc, but it's ok if you didn't i guess there might be another tut on that somewhere.....

@randomdood, this was basically just a walk through of it, i am currently in the process of compiling a HUMONGUS tutorial on prettty much EVERY feature that is in the cpanel. whether it be as small as changing the default e-mail address, or as large as setting the cron jobs (im going to have to do some research on those  )

Great tutorial, I´ll definitely bookmark it so I know what the hell can I do with some of the cpanel features which always seemed odd to me. It´s like... you have lots of icons and you hardly know what the half of them are for.  Thanks!

before you even think about using the cron jobs, i suggest that you do allot of reaserch on how to do them, because they are very advanced tools, i think it is the most advanced tool in there, and this tutorial does not explain how to do them, but just what they are. SO google a couple of times and see what you come up with because i dont want you to think that by the information given in this tutorial that you can go and do advanced stuff in cron jobs, but if you think you can go right ahead, but i claim no responsability for any damage to your site thaat you may cause

lol thanks, it took a while to write it, including all of the pictures and everything but i think it was well worth it. I figured that by now someone would have written a full Cpanel Tutorial/Walkthough by now, but no one has, so i did and it was well worth it i think.. Emjoy the tut's

(1) I changed my domain from tf2maps.trap17.com to fearclan.trap17.com recently, and when I did,
everything was working fine, except cpanel became really ugly with this rvblue skin that I

Page Load Error When Accessing Cpanel

Unable To Replace .png File In Directory
Can't even delete it using Cpanel (7) I can't delete a little file using file manager in Cpanel. I'm trying to delete a .png
image, actually, I'm trying to replace it. The response comes back as a success, but when I
reload my site it's still there. Then I go back to the file manager and go up a level, then back
and WOOP! There it is! I'm beyond frustrated here. What is going on?....
