Well I have a couple of new forum ideas for here...
First is InvisionFree Skinning. Since Invisionfree is IPB but just a way older version, I think it would be nice for a section of invisionfree skinning. This would be a great addition to the graphics community, and it might just boost up activity considering that there could be a database, and since invisionfree has over 1 million users using it, then it would be intresting to have rare skins here. Then people would be able to critique another part of skinning. I'd be willing to chip in a few tutorials, and things that I made just for skinning.
Another good addition would be Website Templates, just like skinning, and since this is a web host forum, why not web design templates? Another way to make people more active on these forums! Their just thoughts but what do you think?

We have a dedicated GFX section with tutorials and web template resources. T17 GFX crew are available for any sig/banner request and other graphics savvy members can participate at any time.
A new forum sections are created as needed, however, it depends on the popularity. So for now all graphics related subjects are posted under GFX section. When certain topics are created more than others we can create its own sub-forum later.
In the mean time would you like to demonstrate by designing IP.B skin for our GFX section? There was a discussion before but the loading time of new skin was way too long. The new skin MUST be fast loading even for dial-up members.
Trust me on this Invision Free Skinning wouldn't do much boosting here since most of the major skins sites have cornered that market and they are gfx heavy forums as well. Of course to cover the thinking about this is copyright issue's as well, since you would have to be the original poster of that skin and not just copy and paste it or mods and admin will have to deal with people ripping skins from other people. It's plausible but unrealistic to create those subforums as I have seen a few hundred IPBfree skin sites most of them you can find on invisionfree board so again you can just go to the directory and look there.
@buff Invisionfree skins are a lot different then IP skins due to the fact that Invision Free skins are based on IPB 1.3 and not 2.2.x so the coding structure is about 6-8 version different then it is now.

the old posts from my current host -> trap17 host? Will i need to copy the whole MySQL database and

On my site I have built a basic counter for tracking how many visits I get. Unfortunately I'm
not sure how to go about distinguishing bots from legit visitors so I end up counting every visit
including bots. This does not give an accurate count of visits to my site. How I went about doing it
was just basically having a session variable set flag once a user visited the site. Its very basic
and If that session flag is not set then just insert their IP into the database table which is then
counted for the total of visits. I probably should of looked at already made scri....

websites that offer them completely free, so i know for sure that they do violate any copyrights,

Almost al things in the world can be found on the web. But what i can't find is an online
cemetery. I came to this idea because people are complaining in the netherlands that when someone
dies its really expensive to bury them € 10.000 aprox. (altough if you don't have the money
you still get buried or burned). But then you only have an wooden corss on your grave or a simple
stone plate (if you where burned). And because not everyone has that much money to spend I want to

I would like to make some money off of my site. I know it's not professional or anything, but
this one kid I know said he was able to buy a web cam with the money he got from donations! I
feel uncomfortable having PayPal on my site, you know? Do you put donations on your site? I mean, I

When i die I don't like bugs and being eaten by my own enzymes so I want to be "turned to ash"

Due to the overwhelming amount of topics and posts etc., I think Trap17 should have a trim of all
its clutter. And if we go to a further extent reorganising the forums and possibly getting a rid of
few. This is only my point of view but what do you think?....
What do you think about forums? Do you think they are a waste of time? Why do you think they were
originally created? Are they better than Guestbooks? What are some of the best forums you know?
Where are forums mostly used in your opinion? I think forums are mostly for people that are bored
or require help. I think only under these circumstances are they not a waste of your time. I think
they were created for big groups to ask questions from each other. Forums are more detailed than

I recently got a new computer, a NEC i-Select D5410. A few days ago it started to randomly crash,
and all inputs and outputs were cut. The monitor displayed "No Signal", the keyboard and mouse
stopped working and the speakers cut out, yet the power light remained on, and the fans were still
spinning. Opening the DVD and CD drive still worked, so it isn't a power or mobo failure, as far
as I am aware. In an attempt to remedy the problem I have moved the computer into a more open area
to try and improve air flow, as I belive the problem is overheating or lack of air c....

Hi has anybody got any games they started writing but stopped. If you have just put the idea/theme
of the game here, for others to benefit from. You get a great idea, but for some reason you
can't make it and just forget about it. Rather than just leaving it as nothing, why not share
