| | Apprently you can tweak Source to showing your Ping time and everything in the corner of the screen, this would be useful to me and would like to know how it is done.
If someone here knows and wouldn't mind sharing I will be grateful. Thanx in advance

adjust footstep volume?
Counter-strike: Source Tweaking
When I play css , the footstep sound are so dim I may aswell have no sound , dunno wht is like this, I play 1.6 and cz both are fine . Any way to adjust this? -question by token

To show your fps, ping, cmdrate/updaterate... Try the console command net_graph # (# = 1 for a basic netgraph, 2 for one which shows a live graph of your connection packets, 3 for an all-text netgraph which is the most popular since it shows loss and choke and 0 to turn netgraph off) To enable the console to input the command, go to Settings/Options-> Keyboard tab -> Advanced -> Check "Enable Developer console" then apply the settings and press the ~ key (it's next to the 1 key and above the TAB key on a basic keyboard. As for footstep sounds, try adjusting your window's wav volume in the advanced sound settings (for XP). -reply by wmd=cerberus/.

Best Game (9) I seriously think that Counter Strike Source is probably the best game beause there is really no
other first person online muiltyplayer action like that game, i just love it because what is better

Need Help With Cs:source Game Files!
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! (0) my steam folders are really really weird.....in the username folder i have nothing when i use the
explorer....but when i downloaded this VTFexplorer i can see the cstrike and the maps and the sounds
ive downloaded......but i cant edit them or add new in order to make a server or do anything....i do
have these .gcf files in my steamapps folder......can someone help me and tell me why i cant see
anything in my username folder.....i have 2 usernames that i log into but only one shows up...when i
use the VTFexplorer i can see both my username folders with cstrilke and alltha....

Cs:source - Issues
(0) I couldnt find any threads so feel free to delete. Dislike: 1) Sound, like I cant tell where the
footsteps are aswell in previous cs versions. Guns n stuff sound good. 2) Barrels and some other
stuff but barrels in particular. 3) The footsteps in source I have gotten used to however they
seemed pretty odd at first. 4) Office runs like a *BLEEP*. That is all I dislike, other then that
it's all good! I also find it annoying it sets all these high settings for my system as
default. Reduced aa from 6x to 4x (6x did nothing?). I also reduced the models to low a....
Which Game Do You Like Better?
Halo 2 or Counter-Strike (4) Which game do you guys like better. Please post your opinions and why. Thank You! I like
Halo 2 because alot of people play online with it more than Counter-Strike plus there are alot more
tourneys and tournaments with the game.And people have made many sites dedicated to halo 2 and there
are tons of halo2 clans. I personally am in a halo 2 clan. Its called Xassassinz. I made there site
for them. And were hosted here a trap 17.(Of course were hosted here what do you think!!

Disappointed With Cs Source Performance
(1) Running 1.6, I can get as high as 150 fps and average on a map like dust around 100. On CS Source,
my computer won't hardly handle it. I've dropped as low as 11 fps on some maps with rain
falling. I've set everything in the graphic settings just about as low as it can go and even
overclocked my machine a little but it still sucks. You would think an AMD 2800 Barton +, with 512
2700 DDR, and an ATI 9600 pro would handle it, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The best
I can get on the built in stress test is 82 fps.....

is below... If you liked CS 1.5 when you could play on WON, the good old days have returned. I
have been playing CS 1.5 WON2/No-WON/No-Steam (what a long name) for a few weeks now and i
absolutely love it. This also helps me because I used to have a Steam account and lost the password
to it. I am unable to play on Steam becuase of it. Frankly now, I really don't care. I also
downloaded this cool addon to CS called CS15EE (Counter-Strike 1.5 Extreme Edition). Better So....

Anyone Play Cs:source?
(2) Great game, If you love original counter-strike you will love Source. The physics are incredible,
weapon models and hand models are great. It plays exactly like the original and has all the
reflective mambo jumbo to make it look good. If you want to play it you need Steam and a Half-Life2
Voucher (From a videocard like 9600XT) or own Condition Zero.....

quite complete yet. But I ordered it through steam today. When you preoder Half-Life 2 CS:S comes
with it. It is the same as the orginal just a new engine I believe.....
