Yes the game is very cheap, but because it's a bit outdated it's hard to find halflife in stores. Also there are anti hack systems that don't use Valve's default Anti Cheat, programs like "Cheating-Death".

Anyway if you have an old computer halflife /cstrike 1.6 should be an ok game to play, but if you have a new computer Counter-Strike Source is the way to go

those dudes really deserve some credit, though its a shame about the steam ticket error when playing on steam servers....

it don`t works , i cannot download it .

i don`t want it with stream because it install on my computer many things , and i don`t want , my computer will work slowly .

Well I agree, If you have 2 computers, but the one that your using is 32 mb GC and the other one is 128MBGC Just swap em over.

    two things about this post. first off, this is my first post on the Trap17 forums, and second part
    is below... If you liked CS 1.5 when you could play on WON, the good old days have returned. I
    have been playing CS 1.5 WON2/No-WON/No-Steam (what a long name) for a few weeks now and i
    absolutely love it. This also helps me because I used to have a Steam account and lost the password
    to it. I am unable to play on Steam becuase of it. Frankly now, I really don't care. I also
    downloaded this cool addon to CS called CS15EE (Counter-Strike 1.5 Extreme Edition). Better So....

    quite complete yet. But I ordered it through steam today. When you preoder Half-Life 2 CS:S comes
