impressions are clicks not views if it was views all people would have to do is refresh their browser every 5 seconds.
well in my thing in the adsense thing it says i have had 500 impressions, and 3 clicks? How does that work than?

Impressions are page(or AD) loadings.
So if your page has been viewed(or properly refreshed) 1000 times, you have 1000 impressions. But beware, they are not that stupid to allow this, just go through the forums and see for yourself how many accounts have been banned for doing this. And more importantly, if they have enoufh reason to suspend your account, still they wait till your account balance reaches $90 or so.(i.e. just close to the payment mark) thereby getting a huge benefit.(u can guess how sad it may be!)

Then why you are going to violate this terms?. The self impression generation only results on the termination of your account. Why you trying for your own distruction?. Make money only in right way. When a visitor comes and browses all those pages, is it counted like ONE impression or multiple impressions?

Cost Per 1000 Impressions This one pays on 100% of impressions, but it also accounts for the small percentage of page viewers who won't have their audio on. The advertiser has a value of their ad being served to the masses and you as the publisher have the value of earning a significant payout on ALL your traffic not .2% or something. Also they are clear about how much they pay out whereas Google has some hidden figures which can vary as they see fit. Dear rldowling03 google will ban ur account if you refresh ur page more than 10 per day(i guess).
First of all.......yeah impressions are page views not clicks.
Secondly, the amount u get out of 1000 impressions is next to NOTHING at all. It's a joke really. Dont even bother about getting your impressions high, cuz there's another catch to it. If your CTR or Click Thru Rate goes down real bad, then you're site will be getting what google refers to as LOW PAYING ADS. That is the amount u get per click will be drastically reduced. so yeah, unless you're site is getting like thousands of visitors per day....dont bother about impressions or services which pay you based on impressions
