wow! i never relised that your schools were so bad. at my school, there are the occasional small fights, and about 2 ppl per grade who smoke... but thats it. no massive gang fights of drug dealing. although... i do go 2 a private school, so it is much better managed and funded, and the students have grown up with a better lifestyle (no offence to the public school ppl) but i guess the public schools around my area are sought of like urs... not near as bad though.

Me too, but I still get stuff like that happening. I do live in England, so I don't know what the difference may be though. My private school is of high quality, probably top in England- but it's in a crappy area. Literally, drunk Poles (Polish people, no offence) are everywhere. Gangs walk outside our school, and graffiti is sprayed on a regular basis.

we are in a great area.. suburban family area. wat i mean by that is there is alot of new families coming along, resulting in no gangs and not much drug dealers and stuff.
yeh so i guess im lucky, the only crap thing about my school is that its all boys... sausage fest much?

I go to school in Ohio, in a suburb near Columbus (f you didn't know, that's the capitol of Ohio). Every thing was fine through out Elementary and Middle School, however when I got to High School the picture changed big time. I go to Lincoln High School We have Drugs, Alcohol, and definitely fights. We had a fight the first day of school and since we have over 2,500 students, and a Circle was formed it lasted a good ten seconds. We usually had about one good fist fight every other day. There are parties every weekend, and a couple, on occasion during the weak. When I say parties I'm referring to Alcohol (Bear, Smirnoff, Strait Vodka, etc...), marijuana, Hookah, bongs and more. The one thing I am surprised in our school about is th Gun Violence, there is none of this. In fact, there was only one story dealing with weapon related violence and that was a knife brought to school, however the kid was only a threat to himself (Emo, Suicidal), this kid didn't make it to far, he was tasered and put in handcuffs. Those are all the problems I can think of right not, I'll keep you tuned in if I think of any more.

Man I HATE these kind of schools.

First of all - At my school (just gone there a week) and since we're MOSTLY a bunchy GEEK Class (Media / Design / Photoshop etc) anyway, it won't get so bad.

But there's ofc "PARTY" weekends for everyone (which I HONESTLY am not too much into) and as far as i know no one dealing DRUGS or anything like that.
Still there's (regular) smokers, and a big school overall.

The problem is, WHY doesn't anyone STOP the massive fights I've read so much about in this topic? WHY? The schools are JUST as much responsible as you are. And when you and your dopeheads (not pointing at anyone here ) are having a bash, no one's there to stop - Just watch - Walk by - Ignore it...

*Sigh* I wish there was nothing but "peaceful" schools around And I'm not saying I haven't drinked before or anything, but it's not NECESSARY with alcohol to have fun

I didn't realize there were schools like that out there, or that it could get so bad. You would think the police or teachers would get more involved to sort out these things.

My school is quite different. No one does drugs in the school, and there are rarely fights. Although I've seen a few. There are people who smoke though. Even the young ones. But apart from that, its pretty much a good quiet school. Although I did hear someone pulled a knife on my Chemistry teacher once.

My school! don't have many bad thing happen! but however expect some fight in the publish school! that a normal thing that would happen in country (I guess so). I also have my group to make a civilization project about school bullying and the my project is number one the government right start to stricten their law by sending cop to school to protect high school student! but say what they can't protect everyone in everywhere everysecond!

I remember when a few days ago, people at my old school found 3 students smoking methamphetamine. And the other day some students (around 10(i think)) had 'massed sex' things are getting wierder and wierder

Wow... Your schools are really messed up. I cant believe how they can be like that. Sure at my high school there were fight, and I think that fights are normal at every school, but the drug abuse alcohol and what not is just too much. If they act like this is high, I wonder where people like this is going to end up.

At my school it is actually more dangerous on the outside than it is on the inside, I remember someone getting beat up and his stuff stolen just before he was going to take the bus. Its a pretty ugly place where my high school was, and Im not even talking about the afternoon or night schedule which I imagine could be worse.
