| | I don't know about you guys, but I find the current subscriptions page (http://www.trap17.com/forums/view-topic-subscriptions.html) one of the most useful features of this forum. As such, I have two ideas to make this tool even better.
1) Have the topics listed on page be sorted into two sections: one for new posts (at the top) and the other for topics without any new replies.
2) Make the topic subscriptions page be the default destination when you click the 'My Controls' link. Or at least swap out the "Recently Read Topics" in favor for it. (I made this suggestion before along with another one. And while the second one was addressed I never got a reply about this one. As such, I apologize if this constitutes a double post.)
Both of these changes would be remarkably easy to implement (though I know that you guys are busy). I'd be happy to lend my services if you're interested, shouldn't take more than about an hour of work max.

Proper English Within Posts
(32) Mistakes happen. In the fury of writing long-winded posts (or short, meaningless drivel) it's
often easy to misspell a word here or there, or overlook a typo. I have no problem with that, nor
with taking a little artistic license to spice up the post if it adds some intrinsic value to the
thread. But lately, I've noticed some folks going out of their way to deliberately misspell
common words and butcher the English language beyond recognition. To cite a recent example, one
poster found it appropriate to spell "anyways" (which is not a real word, anyway ) as "A....
Delete Posts?
(5) I really hope this is not on the forums anywhere but I did check. Why can we not Delete any of our
posts? Like in one case a member accidently double posted. I wish there was a feature that allowed
us to delete any posts that we make. I know nothing of how to do this but I know some things. Lets
sat I wanted to delete this post. After I deleted my Posts Count would go down and credits would be
deducted for exactly how many I earned in this posts. We are allowed to edit and change a few things
to out posts but I think we need more editing ability with our own posts. An....
A "save As Draft" Button
saving your topics or posts for later editing (13) i realized while typing earlier i had the urge to find a "save as draft" button. i guess i was so
fixated with my blog. but anyway, my point is what if the forum was to include this feature so
whatever you write, you could save them for posting later on. i was thinking maybe some people would
have some stuff to do and they have to shut down the computer (not everyone can leave their computer
on, and that would be a waste of energy), but they have already written their topics/posts.
moreover, some people would have second thoughts in posting their topics so they could sav....
Limiting Max Number Of Credit Posts Suggestion?
(19) How about that Trap17 limits maximum number of posts that you can get credits for in one day? My

Minimum Characters In Posts
(12) To cut down on spam at IPB Gaming I installed a nice little mod that forces a member to post a

get rid of short, pointless, stupid, and ignificant and annoying posts that can sometimes plague a
forum. Take a look if you haven't already.......

Higher Value (12) I think that when people post, it should give them more credit days than it currently does. It takes
a long time to make replies and new posts to some people like myself who don't type very fast,
and to constantly be active to make sure that there are enough days remaining is a lot of time and
work, considering people could get a paid site for around $3 or $4 a month. The cost is very cheap,
and not all of the features that this site offers is necessarily used by everyone. I could pay for a
site, and have everything I need for a very low cost, and not worry about how....
Allow Users To Edit Posts
(4) I am sorry if this has been suggested before, but it would be good if you allowed the users to edit
their posts... I don't feel comfortable posting again because I forgot something or wanted to
change something....
Edit Option For Posts
adding an option to edit past posts (2) hi i was just wondering if you could maybe add an 'edit' button to the bottom of each post.
this would be useful, as just recently i was posting in the warcraft III topic in the gaming/rts
subforum and i forgot to say something and so had to post twice. maybe just make it so that if
someone has already posted after your post it is uneditable, but until that happens you are free to

Allow Members To Edit And Delete Posts
Make The Lives Of Us And Mods Easier (9) Ok so your happily posting and you hit the post button too many times because your internet is slow.
We can't delete our own posts so we have to let a mod know. Or you want to add to your post. I
personally think this is kind of a good idea because it will help the forums run more smothely if
people can edit or delete their posts. What do you guys think?....
Posts Suggestion
(1) I found that many people are confused about the post issue, where you have to have more than 300
charecters. However, I have a better suggestion. If you made a addon called "Good Posts" and after
that put the script of 300 charecters and another one saying "Total Posts" with the normal script.
For example, I posted 10 normal posts and 6 GOOD posts. That way, the ranks for the forum will rise
faster, yet, we still know how many posts are good. That way, I don't say n00b until I post over
30000 charecters in the forum.....
