hi For some unknown reason, when I connected to the internet today, the internet connection icon in
the taskbar didn't appear. I tried unchecking and re-checking the "Show icon in notification
area when connected" box under my connection's properties, and the Customize Notifications under
Taskbar Properties still lists the internet connection as "always show". I willing to go into my
Registry to fix this problem. Any help? Thanks ahead!...

onto my account only to finde that upon entering my account the useual panel for veiwing the whole
window of e-mail had gon rather messy as in where there were useually icons for the inbox and so-on

hi, before i get started with this ever growing list to this new OS, let me explain the terms of
these programs not working. Windows Vista is a new High end operating system pulling high system
resorces from your computer. The reason some of these programs may fail or plain not work at all
may not always be the OS's fault. The bigest problem with vista is the ram and proccesor usage.

It looks like my PC has something against HTML editors. I use Coffeecup HTML Editor 2007 and I also
have Dreamweaver CS. In both cases, when I am editing web pages, whenever I switch from one task to
another, eg. after editing do a save, or do a preview or whatever, both programs (Coffeecup even to

I decided that I would like to change the skin on my forum, which uses Invision Power Board. When
ever I try and import a .xml file for my skin images, it dosent work. It dosent make the image files
in the directory forums/style_images/Skin_name_image. It only add the directory of the name of the

I am installing Apache 2 on Ubuntu Linux 6.06 (downloaded appropriate binary), and have followed the
instructions from several places, including apach.org... I have got to the point where it says to
enter make , just after the ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2 , where I also added
--enable-mods-shared=most , for the common options. That all went fine, took a little while, then
when it's done I am supposed to enter make , I presume to gather up all the newly created
files. This command just does not exist. returned bash error and it is not in the manual....

The usually excellent Firefox is annoying me. When ever I try & install a theme or add-on im
greeted with: 'Software installation is currently disabled. Click Edit Options to enable it &
try again' So off I go to edit options, & nowhere is there 'enable software
installation', ive looked through every menu on firefox & just cant find it. Where am I going

I have problems with both IE and Firefox. IE always crashes or freezes on me all the time. When I
can actually use it, it never displays flash. Like if somone has a flash animation in their banner
it just shows a still picture. I went into the internet options and enabled flahs and stuff and it

Hi all, I've been trying to set up my home network to share the internection of this pc, trough
a router to a notebook with an USB Dongle... The network works fine, but the internet connection
isnt showing on my notebook. In advanced property's of my internet connection it says it cant

Yes I’m sure we all relate to the pain of rebuilding your failed c drive .. not fun .. usually takes

Ok. so i had the internet explorer exploit thing that would give me like twenty pop ups when i used
IE. So i tried to get rid of it. Theres like twenty things that nortons cant erase. Adaware helps
