I have downloaded probably 3 computer optmizer demos and they all always offer to find the problems
with my registry but they never trulydo anything to really boast the performance of my computer.
Which ones do you people use?...

I plan on buying a new computer for christmas.. Only problem is, I can't find any good

Hello there. My family members keeps annoyingt me becouse of sitting by computer so much. They
don't care, what am I doing: programming, reading news, posting in forums or reading emails -
they allways think that I'm just having fun, and it's no use from computer LoL So I decided
to ask, how much time a day do all of YOU spend sitting by computer? Just trying to find out: 6-8
hours per day is normal, or I can call myself computer maniac already......

I have a computer thats about 6 or 7 yrs old (not currently being used), i went to start it up to
re-format the harddrive and install the required components and such and the comp booted but would
not load into dos no matter what i did and it does not load properly and it does stuff i dont want

A good portion of the time im pretty laid back, and I let things go by me. But it seems latley, I

What do you think of the widescreen display laptops are beginning to adopt nowadays? Is that the
right way to go? Or should we stick to our original display (800 * 600, 1024 * 768 ... etc) instead
of (1280 * 800). For me I think these widescreen display should be the way to go, it allows you
more space to do your stuff especially if you are doing some image editing, and that requires a huge

I'm using a Compaq Presario 2100 (Compaq is worst computer ever made, in my opinion). When I
run a game - full screen 640x480 - sometimes it will freeze my computer. When this happens, the
sounds skips a clip of about .5 seconds repeatedly. The screen always goes either all-black or

I recently got a new computer, a NEC i-Select D5410. A few days ago it started to randomly crash,
