I vote custom. I always build my stuff myself.
I hate any brand computers (not just mac's) :wink:
Brand computers always have some proprietay stuff in them, which limits their usability.

You can put Linux on just about any PC as long as there are drivers for the hardware.

its all about the custom and any 1 who voted for alien ware is a moron cause those computers suck and u can build pne that better than it with the exact same case those computers only sell cause of their good looks...lol... :wink:

in the mark computer (who Hp) enywhere pepole can´t modifi the computer in hardware who in software, and have a lots limits (i think) I HAVE A CUSTOM COMPUTER no to limitations

I would have to say that building your own is the best because that way it will meet the exact specifications that you need it to and some times it can even be cheaper. Voodoo computers are pretty good too but they are fairly expensive.
