as we travel in the past
Remember how fun it was
To be children at last
Running and singing aloud
Making ripples in the stream
Having your first kiss
And you first scary dream
Friends that seemed to never end
Jumping rope and buying sweets
Living out our childhood dreams
in the alleys and the streets
I was once a pirate
Who could never be caught
I pillaged the cookie jar
And took what sweets I saught
You loved to be a mail carrier
using your mom's old mail
Delivering it to the whitehouse
Or to a annouce a huge sale
How much fun we had then
No too much to worry about
We Slept, ate and played
And when we were hurt, we pout
None of us were rich
We didn't have everything and such
We played with what we had
And didn't ask for that much
So as we grow old togther
We need to always travel back
Into the world we once cherished
And never ever look back
