its called a subdomain change. It will cost you 10 hosting credits and admin will ask that you have 15 (so you have enough after the 10 are taken). you must say you accept to the exchange of hosting credits for the subdomain before the admin will make the change (or atleast thats what i have seen)

I just didn't know the name but OpaQue had already alerted me about the 10 hosting credits exchange for the subdomain... I forgot to write it down but now I've edited the other message... Thanks... hehehe... I just didn't get this "Admin will ask that you have 15"... what for?...

See, you need 15 credits because the admin will take away 10 for a subdomain change. If you do not have enough hosting credits after the 10 hosting credits away your site would be frozen (I think). Each hour takes away hosting credit (not a lot though). If you only have like 1 hosting credit after the 10 is taken away your site would be frozen in about a day.

each hour doesnt take a hosting credit..... 1 hosting credit= one day. the reason your 'recommended/asked' to have 15 credits is yes because the admin is trying to avoid people complaining about their account being suspended after the subdomain name change. it doesnt take long to get credits so you should have around 15+ as a rule newayz.

Ohhhh... I see... hehehe... thank you... I was thinkin that I would lose 10 Posts and not 10 Hosting Credits... Well... I don't have 10 hosting credits at the moment because yesterday I've done a lot os posts beacuse I had to un-suspend my account and today I reserved my day doing forum-signatures/avatars... I Really Do Not Understand
How do they calculate your credits? (6) A minute ago, I noticed my site nor my email wer working. So, I decided to come here and check my
amount of credit, as I knew I was getting low. But who can understand my astonishment when I noticed
that I was in a negative state of credit, at -4.15? What happens on this site then? Do they just
eat your credit as they see fit or what? As I said before, I knew I was getting low, and that is why
I came and checked, but yesterday I still had credit worth 1.65 points, today I find myself at
-4.15. So, you can imagine that has really left me wondering how i could have eaten....
Editing Posts Alters Credits?
Does being retrospecitvely pedantic pay? (24) I am wondering about the Credit System calculations on the Trap17 forums. If I were to make a post
and submit it, then the calculation system does its magic and attributes a certain number of Credits
for that post, right? So, what happens if I later revisit the post and edit it? For argument's
sake, if I get am a bit sloppy in my speeling and don't rite proper Inglish, then your algorithm
