To recap, if you were changing your subdomain name (yourSite.trap17.com) to a domain name (yourSite.com) will it erase your files? No. However, you might run into a bit of problem if your pages are called like this: HTML <a href="http://yourSite.trap17.com/images/picture.jpg"> But... HTML <a href="images/picture.jpg"> would be just fine. Don't forget that anyone who book marked your page with yourSite.trap17.com will see "The Page Cannot Be Disaplyed"

Problem With Hosting

problem with logging into my cpanel, and have had replys of what to do, none worked. I have left a
ticket with xisto and no reply. Right now I am about to go Nuke over this. as some of you know my
site is a weather site and we have 2 systems on the east coast of the us. My problem is should I
wait this out and let the credits I have be used. "cant even access my own site" or save them and
just resign up and hope that takes care of the problem. Or even worse leave trap17 a....

www.ageofilluminati.com it will direct everything. Forsay when I hit downloads it will direct to

how do i change dns records for my domain or disable it (2) I looked everywhere in Cpanel but I can't find where I can change the DNS records for my domain.
This is the only thing stopping me from moving my website over to trap17, because I need to manage
DNS myself. If I can't manage it then at least I should be able to disable it. And Trap17 offers
professional hosting so they shoulf offer this too. EDIT: There should be somewhere in Cpanel that
allows us to have Custom DNS Records, but I can't find it or it's not enabled.....

I lost my site because of being inactive for a few months a year or so ago and have been hesitant to

Just to be sure (9) Hi, this happens to everyone someday and now it's my turn. I have not been able to be active in
the forums for the past few weeks, mainly due to time, and it will eventually get even worse.
Besides, I can't just post in every topic pretending to know about the subject in discussion in

Delete Button In Trap17 Gallery Doesn't Work.
(4) In the Trap17 gallery there is a button to apparently allow you to delete your own post/image.
However, when I have tried to use this button I get a "Board Message" saying I don't have the
permission to delete. Can we either be given the access to delete our own posts/images in the
gallery, or if that is not possible, remove the "Delete" button?....

another 1) it is shown obviously how much credits you require to request a website, but what are
the ongoing credit costs (ie does the 20mb offer require 10 credits to setup then 10 credits a month
or something similar) 2) what is required to use a domain name with an account? i've never used
a domain before so if i register one do i just tell it to point here, or do i need to do something
with DNS servers? does trap17 offer these DNS server things? any help would be ....

sean.vainro.trap17.com/johnnyblue/images/bullet.gif this error comes up CODE Forbidden You
don't have permission to access /johnnyblue/images/bullet.gif on this server. Additionally, a
404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
