im not really sure why this is happeneing. Firstly, let me explain how this is all set up I have a
cable modem, which has a cord going into my wireless router, and also into my desktop. now last
night, i was on the desktop, and my dad was on his laptop using the wireless internet. both of us
were disconnected at the same time (thats never happened before) i couldnt connect to the web or
through mIRC. after a few minutes, it was back to normal later last night, i lost connection
again, waited around for a while, and still couldnt get connected, so i shut down the c....
hi, I have a 10Mbp boardband internet connection that the download speed only 300KB and upload speed
with 600KB, is this true? Everytime I test the speed, I got the same result. Any advice are welcome.

okay, so here's my problem...i am running on 3mb of connection and i am having trouble dling soo
slow...my dl rate use to be about 150-500kbs from www.yousendit.com. when i was using an ethernet
wire. I am now using a wireless linksys and so when i dl from yousendit..the speed is ranged from
50-100kbs..same mp3 file..i've tested...got sooooo slow!.....so a few days i was working with an
ethernet..and the connection was wayy faster than this wireless...any suggestion on how to handle
this matter? please help! i mean..i can 't use the ethernet wire anymore...b....
Well I have a linksys router and have cable internet. Sometimes my internet goes out and I almost
always have a sucky connection. It was not always like this, it just started happening. What I did
to try to fix it: I have a wireless router so I can try many things. I redid the software and it
still did not work. I connected to other wireless connections and got better connections and they
are farther away. I undid the wireless and redid it and it still did not work. I connected the cord
to my computer and it was working better for awile and then it started just discon....

Ok I have to basic issues. 1)- When I startup my computer, in order to connect to my DSL access, I
need to go into the command prompt and type "net start dhcp server" Otherwise I end up with all
0's when i type ipconfig and we all know that means no internet! So the question here is...
