Centrino Technology - AHHHH

whyme
I thought that Centrino Technology was the most reliable and uses it's power most effectively, proabably becasue of this "energy consumption value", they don't want it to overclock and consume up all the energy. I suppose that it's a good thing for those who travell frequently or perhaps, don't chrage thier computers very often.

mobile athlon64s are really good too actually, just that they aren't advertised that much. I've seen one downclock all the way to 133Mhz!

just stupid question maybe..
what is the point of 'centrino' means, whether effisien supply (low vltage - power) or its wi-fi integration, or another else?
cause i've seen advertised on tv, seems like the people can access their office data from every where. i dont realy know sad.gif

Like I said somewhere above, Centrino in a laptop is a hardware technology:

Intel Mobile CPU + Intel Motherboard + Intel WiFi = Centrino

centrino's good for regular users ... like using spreadsheets and going on the internet, etc. but for any sort of processing, it just sucks bad. it's super frustrating if your trying to maintain any sort of constant performace, although it is a laptop, and not a server, it's still crazy.

but i think it's a decent standard, and it'll help maintain the life of the computer ... if that even makes a difference anymore.

THE CENTRE FOR SCIENCE AND ENVIRONMENT (CSE), while welcoming the move of the Delhi government to
control diesel emission, has proposed a two-point action programme to introduce ’clean’ diesel

It says diesel cars pollute more than petrol cars. Even Euro III diesel cars produce more toxic
emissions than their petrol counterparts. The `clean’ green technology enables cars t....

Nikola Tesla was one extraordinary man. The city of Buffalo was once his play ground for his ideas.
But due to many undocumented feuds with Edison (yes the very one) Tesla's contribution to
electricity world went less than well notice... that is until now. Tesla worked on transmitting
mass volts across the distance without the aid of clumsy wires. Let's face it, the power poles

well, i sure that you recently heard about LCD and Plasma monitors, but .... do you know whats the

electrical current is applied, a bright light is emitted. This process is called
electrophosphorescence. Even with the layered system, these systems are very thin, usually less than
