I tried downloading my email from website this morning and Thunderbird said it couldn't access
it the server. Then I tried loading my website - to no avail. Does anyone have any idea what's
going on? Is anyone else experiencing this? Seems like this is the second time this spring this has

Trap17 is more navigatable and has a cooler cPanel than computinghost... This may be opinion, but
the HTML editor on computinghost is long gone. The cPanel is the newer version but as always newer
isn't always better. So what if they have a new cpanel (ensim did the same thing)…the fact is
they left old software on for years when much newer and more secure versions are ready. Hell, php6
is about to come out. So in two years plesk, cpanel and ensim will finally go to php6 when php 8 is
available. Just the inablilty to apply security patches alone is enough to nev...

hey guys, its starting to irritate me how my computer is somewhat dumb...I don't know if its
something I did or what, but maybe somebody can help. I go to my cpanel, from any link I try it says
internet explorer cannot find page or whatever the heck it says...but wait....i go to my
laptop...and what happens? perfect, however i hate my laptop to death cuz it does not have nearly

I just got my hosting account yesterday and after getting everything set-up I was looking through
the CPanel and the Fantastico package. With half a dozen choices for chat, bulletin boards and
such, how do you determine which is best for each thing? I'm thinging of just using soholaunch
and not bothering with most of that other stuff....

Howdy. When I try to log into CPanel I get the annoying "Connection Timed Out" message. Looks like
my site, and those of other members are down too if the Shout Box is any indicator. I assume this
wasn't scheduled maintenance. Does anyone happen to know how long things will be incapacitated?

I have a problem... My site works ok, and there is no problem with that, BUT... I am unable to
access my site, my cPanel, and even gamma.xisto.com, from my workplace... I have conntacted my
ISP's tech support, and they checked everything, and all is fine... But I still can't access

I was using a trap17 sub domain but have bought a .co.in domain. And parked it here in cpanel. And
am able to use that domain too. But the sub-domain of trap17 is still there. I want to replace that
with my .co.in domain. For that I was using change subdomain/domain option from
www.trap17.com/manage but it is not working eventhough I have more than 15 credits....

I need to get my cpanel password. I've competly lost, I normally rely on my computer to
automatically save it. But I hadn't loged into my cpanel for ages so it had forgot all the data.
So could one of the admins send me my password, or someone else give me a link to the password
recovery system, cause I can't find it....

Currently my cpanel bandwidth is not counting anything! And while I am quite happy to keep this

Hello, I seem to be having a problem with my Cpanel. Try as I might, I just cannot get the cpanel to
load. I keep getting a page not found error. I'm using the same thing I've been using to
access it, sitename.trap17.com/cpanel....

I set up the custom error pages using CPanel, but they aren't working properly. I get the
standard error code. CODE The requested URL was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404
Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Plust that little bit on the end. Am I doing something wrong or is it something that needs to be
handled by an admin?...

Okay, I am having trouble saving changes to a .css file using the cpanel filemanager. Basically it
worked for me a couple of times (trying to edit "compiled.css") but now it just throws this error at
me every time I click save!! I cannot delete, move, rename or edit the file at all using an
ftp manager or even the cpanel. I have been forced to take my site offline until I have access to

After I got hacked I had the wonderful job of getting my password back. I did get my password back,
however there is a problem. I was only able to get into my cPanel once with the password and my
computer crashed (I hate Linux for the browser shutting down randomly), before I could change it.
I understand the hacker could have easily changed it. What concerns me however is that I cannot
get into anyone else's cPanel on Trap17 either, from any of the computers on my home network.
I am guessing that Xisto blocked my IP address for so many failed login attemp...

For some reason when i tell the Cpanel my email address. I never get the email at my email account.
