i am not able to change permission to any file
i had set the permission as required for a folder but as i was not able to access some part of my site which use the particular error like : unable to write please change permission i cam to the folder through file manager and saw that the permission was set to 666 but i am not able to change the permissions of any folder it gives the following error"
"[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]"
i tried relogin but didn't work can anyone please help me with this
even ftp unable to change permission

Patience, please. They are playing with working on stuff at the Server as we speak type. Should be fixed pretty quickly.

That explains the problem with my ftp today, I was trying to delete a file and before that I had tried changing his permissions, and apparently, it gave me a fatal error message. I hope it is solved soon

if you had ssh enabled you could do it through there using the chmod command, but you dont so im sure that when the work is done you can change it again, keep checking the gamma server status on xisto's main site.

dear richierich1m try by ftp software , if you cant change file permission with cpanel "file manager " . for good software use flashfxp
