what are suported files on this hosting? does it supports types like info? because i want to install

Hi, this happens to everyone someday and now it's my turn. I have not been able to be active in
the forums for the past few weeks, mainly due to time, and it will eventually get even worse.
Besides, I can't just post in every topic pretending to know about the subject in discussion in
order to only increase my credits. I believe that I may have to terminate my hosting account
(already suspended with > -30 credits), and I just need to be sure if there would be any possibility
of recovering the site/files hosted on the server, with the account currently suspended...

Is there a link page in Trap17.com or in Xisto.com to check the server status without logging in?
I'd need that to make a shortcut link from my homepage and probably in my signature to check the
server status on the spot and it'd save me time from logging into cPanel. Also, if the server
is down, cPanel would probably be down as well. Hence there's no other ways that I know of that
is able to check for server status. So is there an alternative way or link to that for public use?...

If i change my subdomain name to a domain will it erase all my files on it now??? Its been on my
mind for sometime now. I was going to just backup everything. But i don't want to go through
the trouble even though it doesn't take long....

I've just created a subdomain and put in image files. But when i tried to access it through
sean.vainro.trap17.com/johnnyblue/images/bullet.gif this error comes up CODE Forbidden You
don't have permission to access /johnnyblue/images/bullet.gif on this server. Additionally, a
404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

hosting on trap17 and i want to delete all the previous files and i want to upload new ones,how to
do it?I had a phpbb forum and another forum which i installed on this hosting....

I've been to my cpanel and found the account name and the required user id's etc. It seems
to recognize the username, but stalls on the password. I went so far as to add a new user account
so that I knew what the password was, but it still won't let me in to uplaod. Are there any
settings that should be altered anywhere? I haven't used the ftp on the account yet, so it
should be in a "raw" state from the set up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks......

Hello Everyone... I need to put in the images table of the DB, 10 pictures of 60kb each one, when i
do that, i lost the connection, but if a upload 10 pictures of 10kb each one, i haven't got the
problem. I'm getting the following error when I run my select query within my VB code: Lost
connection to MySQL server during query. This seems like a timeout error to me, but I don't
know how to compensate so that it doesn't time out. I read in some places that there is a
max_alloweb_timeout or something, that is set by the Hosting Provider, so Any sugge...

Hey once again. This is directed at the staff but anyone please please answer. I downloaded IRCd
and uploaded the files. It was I need to run the install file. I know how to do this on a Linux
desktop but is it posiable to run it from trap17? I know it may not be posiable or may be
disallowed. I will be pleased to get any support. I know I will, I always do here at Trap17....

Is it allowed to have splitted files? like if i splitted a 30 mb file into 6 peaces (5mb each) is it
allowed then? cuz then every1 would download all 6 peaces, wich would be eqal to downloading a 30
mb file... but! if it isn't allowed u could make the splitted file a zip file wich contains
a url to the next peace, wich would make it impossible to download everything at the same time... so
my question is; is it allowed to have splitted files on ur website? if no: is it allowed to have
ziped slitted files whit url? if no to that question then: ok... to bad... ...

Recently I have had a very hard time viewing my site, even if I used the default index.html. My
PHP-nuke has went down many times. Different things change day by day. For example, my security code
was not working on the log-in, and the next day it went back up. Or sometimes I can't even load
the page period. I'm not sure if its a bug or something on php-nuke itself... but if it is the
server, I just thought I bring it to your attention to make it run smoother, than...
