Plz help me out with my cpanel mess!! with correct username and psswrd i cannot log in...was

Hello, Sorry for being doh, i really dont know what to so with Cpanel? As i said i really dont know
much about PC or IT. there are so many function inside the cpanel, it frighten me, hhmmm how should

I created a hosting account sometime this afternoon. I was able to go in and look around the cpanel,
but I didn't do anything. However, a few hours later, I was unable to login. The ftp login using
cmd was fine but the cpanel login at www.trap17.com/cpanel failed. I wasted 10 credits changing the
password. Please enlighten me. I apologize for using File-> save on the hosting account create
page. It didn't manage to save my account info. Where can I get them again?...

Admin, Have posted a PM 4X today for "Opaque" - each time Cpanel has refused to log my message in

Is there a link page in Trap17.com or in Xisto.com to check the server status without logging in?
I'd need that to make a shortcut link from my homepage and probably in my signature to check the
server status on the spot and it'd save me time from logging into cPanel. Also, if the server
is down, cPanel would probably be down as well. Hence there's no other ways that I know of that
is able to check for server status. So is there an alternative way or link to that for public use?...

I love IPB's but I would never pay for one. I don't use FTP for anything and I'll
admit, I've never used it. I can't find IPB in Fantastico, has it been taken out of our
add-on selection?... I am so familiar with IPB that I don't want to have to start learning the

I have just a noticed a number in our user ID panel (the section to the left of your post with your
user name, avatar, date joined, number of posts, member number etc.) that appears after the value
for the date you joined. In my case the number is 190. What is this number and what does it mean? It
may have been there for a long time but I have only just noticed it....

I work @ ratshack. While I'm here, I want to be able to work on my site, but I can't access
cpanel. I think it has to be our proxy. Does anyone have any advice on how to get around this. I

Hi, I've noticed that whatever things I've uploaded into my hosting account, it doesn't
update. Only after I open directly from cPanel and then click Refresh manually, the newly uploaded
stuffs will then be updated. Or else it will still stick to the old files even on another computer
or with history and cache deleted. Simply clicking on the direct URL will also not update. This
problem I've noticed from the time when I first got this webhosting account. I though there
might be a problem in the server and might recover afew moments later. But it doesn...

When I delete forum from cpanel its still on my ftp and I can delete it from there.I dont know if

Username shouldn't be shown on my profile. This is potential problem; anyone that knows my site

Hi all, Have my Cpanel "Log File Manager" settings set to "backup" the logfile daily(ie. I've
checked the first checkbox). QUESTION: This should give me a "cumulative" backup listing of all the
traffic to my webpages in a sequential date (ie. day by day) format..Right?? If this is correct..
then there is a problem.. PROBLEM: I'm only getting partial (many days of traffic are missing)
from the raw log files. The monthly file only contains a couple of days of logs. Can anyone clarify

I'm trying to ban ALL IP's that begin with 205.204 (All the computers at my school). I tried
to use * as a "wildcard" for it, but Cpanel removed it. If I just use 205.204 will it still block
all those? If not, then will I have to enter all the combinations by myself? I'd like to know,
because there's some really annoying people coming on my site from school, so I really need to

Hi, I used to have the lowest/easiest to get package on Trap17. But my internet connection when down
for a long time, and then I kind of forgot about Trap. So my account was suspended... Anyway, I
believe this IS my 41st post, and I'm wondering if I have to post a lot more to regain my

Everyday I'm at this site, I see people with their little custom titles under their avatar or
something and I see their posts and think that I have to have that amount of posts in order to get
