| | Well, I need to know how to change the subdomain of my website...Right now my website is
www.musicstuff.trap17.com
but I want to change it to
www.darkdesign.trap17.com
I do not care if you have to reset everything....but I still want to keep my package 3 that I have...lol.
Can someone tell me how to do this ...or do this for me? |

This should be an admin authority. You as an user of cPanel cant change it, no tool available in user cPanel. If you need to change your subdomain name, simply go to the "Request Hosting" forum, and post "Subdomian Change". Include all your hosting info and everything else that a request would have, and state the name you want to change to. OpaQue would be more than willing to change it for you. ~whyme

(8) My website was working fine, then when I tried to access it on Core FTP Lite (to upload files) Core
FTP couldnt connect (i've changed my password, but forgot to change it on Core FTP). I
disconnected from Core FTP to try and change my password, but then it couldn't re-connect, and
my website has gone down. Everytime I try and go on, I get the "The page cannot be displayed. The

Updating Website, Ftp Problems

files to a file under my public_html folder but also under a folder with my user name

Hack My Subdomain?
(4) Hi, as you know I love giving away credits, and I was trying to think of the best competition for
my upcoming one and I thought why not a hacking one? So, before I start working on it I wanted to
make sure that it was allowed. I know trap17 doesn't support hacking "themed" websites, but
thats not really what this is. Its just going to be a regular site and the competition will be to
break my site by means of sql injection, js injection, and perhaps some other basic techniques. The
first person to bring down the site will win. It is all for sport, no truly malic....
Wouldn't It Be The Same Thing As Copying And Pasting From Another Website If We Copy Out Of A Religious Tract?
(3) I was reading some of these messages in this forum and I noticed that I had heard some of them
before and when I thought about where I believe it was copied directly from a religious tract
(little hand outs that Christians use to spread their faith) I know that if you copy/paste from a
website it is against trap17's rules but what about this? It is the same thing, plagiarism (tho
technically they most likely have the rights to copy it in any way possible but it still is not

Contradictions In Website Rules

community behind it. Anyway I was reading through the terms and conditions before signing up to
these forums and I've also been reading the stickies here and there. I think I've come

Problem Setting Up Subdomain
(4) I have setup a domain i.e, rahul-rules.co.nr and currently I have got it hosted on biz.ly. I am
trying to move over to trap17 and while trying to do so I got the warning that co.nr is a
redirection service and I would have to setup a subdomain with trap17. Now when I tried to setup the
domain it gave me the error "Unable to add the user meboxer". Can you please help me with this and

image files in subdomain (4) I've just created a subdomain and put in image files. But when i tried to access it through

to trap17.NET with ADS and the other to trap17.COM with NO ADS is that right? if it is suppose i

Problem With Permissions/website Down
(4) Hello, I have a little GREAT problem. My website is down and itīs my fault. I was trying to make
some php panels to update my website without using DW/FTP. A friend is helping me and we talk by
mails. He told me that I had to give write permissions to "images" folder in order to upload images
from my HD to the FTP. So I did it and I saw that didnīt work, so I had the terrible idea (on my
own) to prove that with "www" folder. Iīm using WS_FTP and I went to "www" and did

Phpbb Takes Up 15mb
on its website it says it only uses 1mb (7) I just installed PHP with the fantastico thing in the control panel of my hosting account and
