I haven't really heard of forum gold but as long as it isn't illegal or discuss anything that is illegal on how to do it and what not then yes you can add a forum. The web site also offers preinstalled forums or forums that can be installed by the click of a button.

i was just about to ask the same thing. I also want forum gold in my phpbb =(( I got these really nice scripts but dunno how to install them im a newb - maybe if i gave account and password to someone they could do it for me?

I have forum "gold" on my forum, the best one to use (for phpBB) is this one http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=623226#623226To intall it just follow the instructions or you could use Easymod (which auto installs mods (but rarely works unless your using SubSilver))

sorry...im calling it gold cause thats what it does in d2jsp forums. does the admin of the site control all the points/gold?

In the admin control panel you set the amount of points/gold earned per post, per topic and per charactor. Also the admin can add or subtract points from accounts, set a weekly alowence etc.

oh ok i think i got it now....cou i access this thru the cpanel thing? or would I have to access it thru the forum control panel? sorry for all these questions.... but i also would like to know if its possible to change the layout of the domain trap17 gives you? like could you use one of those html type like they have on myspace and stuff?

You can only control the cash mod through the forum control panel. I think you are getting mixed up here, do you mean the domain which is the www.your domain is here.trap17.com or do you mean the actual website For the domain you can purchase a .com .co.uk .net ..... domain or get a free .co.nr domain As for the site you can change it to what ever you want. For a forum you can use "fantastico" in the cpanel to install phpBB (a forum software)

you could also use invision board 1.3 final there are sooo many shop and arcade and money scripts out there to put inside your board wrappers and ive heard there is also 1 on vbulletin and phbb2 forums

Where Does The Credit System Come From?
I want to either get one or make one if I ever make a forum. (5) I'd like to use a "credit system" if I ever make a forum as well. It won't be used for
anything else, but the works will be the same as (or similar to) this one. Say a user has 0 credits,

Points system screwed up? (3) I posted a topic in the "Webhost Review" part of the site. I forgot that it was reserved for Level 1
members and higher and my post didn't show up. However, I still got 11 points for it (it was a

Said my credits were -42.80 (1) I got a topic reply notification today for a post in the Trap17 forum, albait that forum had a
different URL; it is accessible through http://www.trap17.com/community/ . This one had a
different default theme (it was the IPB theme), and all the last posts were in November, 2005. I
looked at my credits on the home page, and they were around -42.80 . This alarmed me until I looked
in my address bar and noticed the different URL to the forum. Why was I still recieving reply
notifications from that board, when I haven't visited that board in a long time (if ever?)? Co....
