Excellent; finally the PC version is catching up. Hopefully there will be more servers without punkbuster enabled on v1.6—it's the only thing that prevents me from updating my CoD4 game. But what's this balancing weapons thing?
The patch has been released for quite many days, and I have to say, I'm astonished. The new maps look great, play great and are just mad when playing in a 64 player server.
If you've ever played with 64 players on Shipment, you'd understand the chaos that occurs. But even District (I think it's district, at least) almost has the same chaos in 64 player free-for-all.
Broadcast is cool and plays nice. I expected more fighting in the place with the many PC's. But no, they just had to add more. That's not so bad, if you think of it. Adds variety in one map. Cool.
Sorry 2 sound noobish but you seem to know wat your doing. I downloaded the 1.6 update and I don't know how to put it on COD4. Bear in mind I'm using vista, Please help moi.

The new patch is out! 1.7! Infinity Ward is back with a new patch. With a size of 38 MB, the CoD4 1.7 patch is relatively small and only includes three real fixes: a crash fix for Chinatown, a MP icon bug fix and a fix for the exploit that allows players to "access certain console dvars during multi-player matches".
Before upgrading your game to the 1.7 patch, please note that most servers are currently still running on 1.6.

How come theres no multiplayer achievements in Call of Duty 4? This kinda makes me upset. I mean,
Halo 3 has horrible achievements, but it makes it more fun when their online. Don't get me
wrong, call of duty 4 is a GREAT game, but the multiplayer achievements not being existant turns me
off a little bit. Also theres no co-op missions? This also kinda makes me sad......
My Cod4 Review I picked up COD4 kinda hoping for something not like COD and COD2. Both
previous encounters with the COD franchise were very enjoyable indeed, but the element of a cohesive
storyline was missing. You were bounced between Russian, English, and American campaigns trying to

From my point of view, i was upset with call of duty 3. I thought call of duty 2 was much better,
but that's just my opinion. Call of duty 3 was good but i thought it would be better. And to
think i traded in call of duty 2 today cause i didn't play it any more.....
We are a patch 1.0 Call of Duty 2 clan, we have been around for about a year, currently, we are 1 of
2 only australian servers in 1.0, the other one got opened yesterday. We have been around for about
a year, we first started when me, |KinG|Gen.Bad Boy made the clan with |KinG|Gen.Phoenix. Before we
got our server, we used the old Iwnation server 3 as our home server, which is now closed. We are
an Expert clan, if anyone feels free to challenge us, come into our server when we are on and just

I host this server at home, look for something like |KinG|Rifles in version 1.0, we uselly change
the gametype often. Server is hosted in Australia, so and aussies that wanna play WILL get the best

American Thompson(fully automatic) - This gun is good for medium to close range combat, you can
hit people far away but you will usually waste your time. The 20 round magazine and high rate of
fire make it good if you have a good lock on the enemy, otherwise you leave yourself open when it
reloads. M1 Garand(semi-automatic) - Great gun, two hits in chest and it will kill. Not good for
close range but it is still fairly effective due to it being semi-automatic. It has 8 rounds in a
clip. When you have only a few rounds left before reloading, just shoot them into the gr....

Apparently there's a new sequel to the acclaimed Call fo Duty franchize. From what I've
read, it'll skip the PC ( /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0"
alt="sad.gif" /> ) and be solely developed as a next-gen console game. Apparently CoD2 was such a
huge success on the 360, Activision wanted to continue their success. There are a few gameplay
videos and a trailer or two out on various websites. My reaction seems more dismay than applause.

So some of you might have enough of playing fair. You can use cheats(not cheatcodes). Most CoD
servers are protected with PunkbusteB so you cannot use older public cheats there, some servers have
