I have a Dell 2005FPW (20.1" widescreen) and I can plugin all kinds of Video devices. So I'm assuming you have something similar. To connect your XboX you should have something like this on your monitor:  If you have that, then you can plugin your XboX. If this is not what you are talking about, please upload an image so that people can see what ports you are talking about.

Presumably they are for a high definition input, such as that from an XBox 360 console. The letters R, G and B refer to the primary colours of light (red, green and blue). HD probably means High Definition. Everything should be colour coded, so if you have a non-HD old XBox then you should have 3 plugs: red, white and yellow. Red and white are right and left audio and yellow is the composite video. Plug them into the corresponding coloured ports on the monitor. If you have a high definition XBox 360, then you will have 6 cables. A red, green and blue for the corresponding light colours. Red and white for audio and a yellow composite video, which is not needed for hi-def. Plug these into the corresponding ports on your monitor and it should work.

It is not colour coded, there are just five holes, and the RCA (the yellow, red, and white cables) cables dont fit into them. So yeah, i searched everywhere on the net, i found similar threads to this one, buy with no reply. I thought trap17 people are smart so i made a topic here.

:confused: Why don't you try to take a photo of what you are talking about or make a simple diagram in paint or something like that.. the reason why we aren't able to give you a proper solution is because we are unable to comprehend the problem/situation visually. Ahhhh.. You need a separate adapter to use these ports. The adapter will convert your XboX or DVD player into RGB HD. The adapter you want would be something like this: http://www3.jetro.go.jp/ttppoas/anken/0001.../1054755_e.htmlRegards, Paul

Connecting Two Computers With A Crossover Cable
Got the basics, anything I'm missing? (7) I was going to connect two computers together with a crossover cable to share files, and maybe even
play a few multiplayer games over it. In my understanding I need a cat5 crossover cable, correct me

How Do A 3 Monitor Comp Work
i have seen in a video somewhere (5) how do it work? one monitor is in word, the other in a dictionary program, and the last in the
internet. do you need something to do this one? i know my comp has two monitor ports but my video

Monitor Problem?

Php An Js Window.open Pages Trouble.

Monitor Getting Switched Off
17 inch color monitor (6) i got a new computer recently and everything was fine , until one day suddenly while listiening to

No Monitor Signal After Power Surge
(7) Last Sunday we had a power surge due to a lightning that hit our house. Luckily everything is
physically intact. The problem is that some of our technological equipments have been fried. Two of

Graphics Card/monitor Issue

Login Bug
Keeps asking me to input a password (6) I do not know if any of you have occurred this problem while trying to login to Trap17, but I did. I
go through the normal login steps, entering the username and password before clicking the submit
button, and expecting to be logged in into the forum. But it always brings me to the error page,
prompting me to key in my password, but my password is already in the password field. Although this
is a minor glitch, but it is getting kinda irritating especially since I always login using my
company's computer.....
Play Xbox 360 On Hd Laptop

Geforce Fx 5200 Problems
My monitor goes blank right as the Windows Welcome screen should appre (5) I hadn't been able to play the Sims 2, and I figured out it was because my video card wasn't
supported. So I went out and picked up a cheap GeForce FX 5200 ($50) and installed it in my

Securing A Php Script Proccessing Input
I need help and advice (7) Hi everyone I like to experiment with php, been doing so for about a year but im not clued up on
security yet, i can use str_replace() to take out parts of strings i dont want like html and JS code
inserted by users, and i know how to use stripslashes to take out slashes from input strings but
this doesnt seem to be lock-tight security to me. There has to be something more to protect my

Problem With My Monitor
(5) I was wondering if someone might know what my problem might be. I have an LCD Monitor and I had it
for about 3 years. I'm having some weird problem with it. Whenever the monitor was off and I
turn it on with the power button, the green light on the power button starts blinking on and off for

What Is Causing My Performance Issues ?
input please (9) I have no idea what is causing this problem: Any time my computer is under somewhat of a heavy task;
it LAGS and slows down to a halt. Counter-Strike source cannot be open for more than a minute before

Dropping Off-line
Any way to test a Cable Modem or Router? (2) I've been having this problem lately of dropping off-line (always on, cable access) I use to
have to cycle (unplug and replug) the Cable Modem and the Router (wired Router) in sequence to get
back on-line. So I replaced the Cable Modem and Router. Now I'm dropping offline less often, and
I can get back on by just cycling the Router. Q. Is there anyway to "test" a Cable Modem and/or

Comcast Cable
Just HORRID service. (12) I have been a Comcast faithful ever since they came to Oregon. Until now, I've had no
complaints. Sure, there's been downtimes and a lag spike every now and then. But that's all
nothing compared to what we're dealing with now. We got in on a special and ordered an 8mbit
broadband connection from Comcast. Since the install date, about 2 weeks ago, we've received
less than half of that 8mbit. I understand the concept of cable internet and sharing with the

Double Monitor Question
^^ (15) Alright, I got 2 monitors currently and I found that my brother left his old graphics card at my

cable connection (10) To those of you that know company : Rogers that provides both internet and TV and even more. When
you are a customer for a long time with them you always get a bunch of stuff cheaper than other
