| | Im not sure if this is the correct palce to post this but anyway.
I was wondering if there was a way to control the time your original page is displayed before it redirects to the site.
eg. Like say i want site1.html to redirect to site2.html but i want site1.html to display 5 seconds instead of going directly to site2.html
If C-Panel cant do that does anyone know how i can do this? I know javascript can do it but i dont know how to write javascipt.

well... i use the meta tag refresh. you can try that. sample code below is set for a 10 second delay before redirection to another page. just change tag settings accordingly.  just remember to place the meta tag refresh anywhere BETWEEN the <head></head> tags. example: SITE1.HTML QUOTE <html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" Content="10;URL=http://yoururl.here/site2.html">
<title>your site title goes here</title>
</head>
<body>
....etcetera

That didnt work. It redirected it ok but there was no delay. I set it for 30 to make sure and still didnt work.

well, the code you posted works just fine as well. it stays for 30 seconds showing "Do you work?", then gets redirected to "http://www.yahoo.com". the html and the meta tag works as you've set it based on the redirect code i posted earlier. Well DUH on me!  I didnt delete the redirect i made in c-panel. Thats why it wasnt working. I deleted that and it works fine now.  Thanx for the help.

Control Panel Will Not Let Me In [resolved]
Login problems (4) I am frantically trying to get into my Trap 17 control panel. I tried to get into the login screen
by typing: http://www.trap17.com:2082 and indeed, the login screen comes up. I then type in my
username (mrdee, or should it be my trap 17 domain)? I then also enter my correct password, what
hapeens then is that the login screen keeps popping up again. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

Trouble With Php Redirects
(1) I'm having trouble redirecting the browser using PHP. It appears as though the ads are
generated before the PHP scripts are run; i.e. the ads are inserted into the pre-rendered (rather
than post-rendered) page. When raising redirects with PHP, the redirect is (essentially) ignored if
anything has been written to the browser. I can't trust JavaScript to raise the redirect (since
someone could just disable javascript). Is there any way around this?....

What Is This Number
in our user ID panel on posts? (11) I have just a noticed a number in our user ID panel (the section to the left of your post with your
user name, avatar, date joined, number of posts, member number etc.) that appears after the value
for the date you joined. In my case the number is 190. What is this number and what does it mean? It

Smaller Font In C Panel
(5) Just when I am starting to learn my way around here.....I go into C panel today, and the font is
much smaller. Has this happened to any body else here? I was use to a bigger a font size. I
don't know it its because I added some more directories, so my directory list is getting long.

Why So Blue?
Why is my C panel so blue (4) Hi All: When I go to C panel, it looks nice. It has a nice white desktop and colored icons. But
when I go to file manager to work on my site, it is very, very blue. Is there a way I can change
the background so its not so blue. The color is very hue intensive, and I would much rather work
