Hello,
everyone i am making a cool website and want to add a new feature that the members of my website can chat with the other members without the use of any yahoo or msn or pidgin messenger.
A messenger just for my website's member and also they can have private talk through the messenger.
I hope you all can understand what i mean to say.
Can any one tell me the name of the site which will provide me with this feature.............absolutely free.........

Good luck to you! This would take months or even a Year to Program and that dosent include getting Members.
Explain abit more. Something like MSN? or Meebo.

There's a script known as AJAX Chat which appears to be what you're asking for. I've never used the program before, but it can be installed along side certain forum scripts, so you don't have to have separate databases for users (assuming that is what they mean).

sorry to tell but i want an messenger which will always be online for my forums and also if someone wants to chat with a person personally then they can get private talk
visit spinchat.com ............
i want the chat system almost like that.........
so please tell me how to make it

ok its a mybb forum.Checked it.Go to mybboard.net go to addons area and search chat there hope you get some results.

Look, you are asking for stuff that or you have the necessary skils to build, or you must use a free script.

If you use a free script, either a script in a zip file for you to upload and configure yourself, or in the other way, you want one of those free services where you just copy and paste a code and you will have everything you need with no trouble at all, even so, you need some knowledge, at least knowledge in html, php, configuring/creating a mysql database, perhaps even the tables names if the script has does not have a dynamic install script.

Like you see, even if you do not want to build the script yourself, you must have knowledge of quite a lot of things, not just programming languages, a lot more.

In my opinion, and from what i just read from your topic content and replies too, you want a messenger for your website, well, cool messenger are not free, so forget it, you might want free chat, and as a matter of fact, i am about to insert one for my blog/website, which is free, and it is extremely cool and perhaps even has more then you want, so here it is:
