the Bt Voyager 2100 is a good piece of kit and a lot better than belkin Wireless routers.
The minimun speed i would advise to work at is a BT BroadBand Connection of 512kb (thats minimum)
In the 2100 package from pcworld you usually get a wireless router box with two aerials, you also get a Pci card that plugs into a usual computer with an aerial and you also get a Bt card to slide into a laptop.
The frequency and the connection is rather good. You can take the laptop into the garden and still use it...

LOL i am still using my BT voyoger 100 USB ADSL modem that i got from BT 2 year ago. I was thinking to switch to 2mb with BT or serious-surt or somehting like that, i do not remember the ecatly name, but i can find that in www.adslguide.org.uk again. Do you know if my modem support the new bt 2mb plan?

I recently bought an E-Tech ADSL Modem Router, I think I have configured everything as it should be.
If I download a file the speed is OK, but if I upload a file the speeds drop to arround 10 kb/s
while they where arround 50 kb/s before I got the modemrouter /sad.gif' border='0'

Problems After Restoring

I have 2 computers, 1 PC and one Laptop. Before I had the laptop I got SBC yahoo DSL for my PC and
it worked fine. Then when I got my laptop I bought a router so that I can use my sbc yahoo dsl on
both computers. And it was pretty easy to connect. You would click on this thing called Local Area
connection I think and you find your router and connect to it. Recently I got lots of spyware on my
laptop so I restore my laptop using the restore CD that came with my laptop. Once it was restored
the local area connection (if that’s what its called) was gone and I could no longe...
