Looks like Seagate slipped up and accidentally released a PDF specification of their upcoming 750GB
Barracuda drives. Available in both PATA and SATA configurations, these drives are based on new
perpendicular recording technology ranging from 200GB to 750GB in capacity. The Barracuda 7200.10
ST3750640A (PATA) and the ST3750640SA (SATA) are available on the Seagate website with plans for
shipping them this year. These 7200RPM drives will come with either 8MB or 16MB buffers, and the

Now this is very interesting and confusing at the same time. I have been told that it is something
that is good useful and can be done. To combine all the removable drives you might have and put them
all in to your main Hard Drive so then you have a bigger memory. The reason I am asking how to do
this is because I always seem to have problems wioth my PC as it seems to run brilliant for a couple
of weeks and then it goes slow like a snail but I've never been able to find out why? Would
combinign all of my removable drives with my main Hard Drive make my PC run a lot...

Ok, I hate to add to the many boards about CD Drives, but I have a major issue with a friend of
mines computer. Ok, the problem is the DVD and the CD Disk Drives are not showing up, at least
properly. She just recently had to get her power supply replaced, because we believed a surge got
threw her surge protector and fried it. I'm wondering if that would of effected the DVD and CD
Drivers. What is showing up is not the CD and DVD drivers but some other stuff. To me it looks like
that the computer may be recognizing the CD and DVD drives as External Hard Drives and...

I have about 10 (this includes cards anything but External drives) I myself have: 3 - 32mb SD (came
with cameras and stuff) 1 - 128mb Generic from Walmart Flash drives (blue) 2 - 256mb "Work" Drive 2
- 1GB CF Card 1 - 2GB Minicruizer Flash drive 1 - iPod Photo 60GB (I don't know why i listed it
its HDD)...

I've had problems with my CD and DVD drive for a while now. First off, my DVD drive is +/- RW,
and it used to read CD's, after a while it stopped working. When I had my power surge I
mentioned that it didn't work. They replaced it. So it worked for about a day, then stopped
again. Well if I know anything, that's not supposed to happen. Now AFTER I had my computer
fixed, my CD Drive stopped working aswell. I just replaced my CD drive myself today. Still

I recently asked for help regaining info from one hard drive to another. Well now I have two hard
drives in my computer and I have rebooted both of them with XP Home edition. Well it seems that my
internet is actually slower though all the network and everything is telling me it is working at
100%. I have dial up netscape internet service. Is it actually slow? Or is it the fact that I live
in an area where fast connection really isn't in high demand thus no matter what my dial up
connection would be slow? What are your opinions....
