| | Hi All, I'm trying to run a Shoutcast radio on my home PC, trouble is that i'm on a wireless network at both of my homes, meaning that I can't broadcast through, I'm not allowed to mess with settings on routers and I have recently got Sky Broadband which is a right pain as it is so secure, we can't even link printers!
So basically, if anyone can find me a way of getting through my router without messing with settings or no-ip or hamachi, please reply.
Thanks Adam @ Ripsaw
EDIT I'm using HAMACHI if anyone would like to test it, read my sig. |

For broadcast you need to know your Wireles adapter IP address /click on wirel. adapter tray icon then go Status tab and you see your IP address and gateway/. Same parameters you must have on your Shoutcast radio software settings for broadcast .With right IP address setings you broadcast to any client on wir. network , and with right IP for gateway you broadcast to internet.Client PC must have in sett. for player your IP address. If dont work please visit http://portforward.com/english/routers/wir...routerindex.htm to find right solutions for your wireless router .

Wireless Access Point Setup
An issue of range. (12) I have a problem with how my current wireless router is set up, in a certain room I do not get a
signal because of all the obstructions in the way of the signal. So instead of moving the wireless
to another point and risk having the same problem but for a different room I have a question. If I
buy another wireless router and set it up in the room of no signal, then run a Ethernet from that
router to my wireless one downstairs it should work. But instead of having two separate wireless
connections I was wondering if there is an specific way to use a wireless router as an....

Wireless Router Problems.
Keeps dropping network. (8) I recently bought a laptop(HP Pavilion dv9000) with integrated wireless and I wanted to set-up
wireless in my house. So, I bought a wireless router, more specifically I bought a Netgear 108mps
router, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000C0XS0 . Now I got the wireless router before I got
the router and set it up. But made all of the correct connections and ran the setup wizard. I got no
errors or anything. I set the security to WPA2 and set the passphrase and everything correctly also.
Now, when I got my laptop I set it up and everything and it found my wireless netw....
Wireless Vs Wired
(10) I'd just like people's opinions on a simple fact of connectivity, stability, and speed on
the aforementioned topics. I consider myself quite well versed in networking and computers, and
although I am well aware that my nForce NVIDIA mobo is more suited to network as it provides a much
better network management than any of the wireless plug in cards or usb adapters that I've yet
to see, I always figured 56mbps was more than enough than what I would need for my internet
connection (considering it's capped at 5mbps tops with the best of conditions). Even if ....
Wireless Gps Shoe

locate them using GPS (Global Positioning System). Has anyone ever heard about this device?....

I Just Want To Understand Better
the effect of bandwith on wireless (2) OK, so let's say we have an N network, with all N clients, and a Comcast pipe of 8 megabits per
second. N has a theoretical top speed of 540 mbps, let's say I'm getting 250. But, in
reality, I'm not getting 250, I'm getting 8. So in a way, unless you have a pipe larger then
54 mbps (the theoretical max of G), it is useless to upgrade to N. Is that correct or am I missing
something?....
Linksys Wireless Pci Card
(3) I have an old desktop at home that is used as a second PC (a sort of backup), for example if someone
is using the newer PC, or its running a virus scan or something. Anyway, this desktop was connected
into my network's router by about 30 feet of Cat5 cable, which was then hooked into the PC with
the use of an ethernet-to-USB converter (it has no ethernet port). We decided to move this desktop
elsewhere, which meant the cable would no longer be of use to connect it with. Despite the age of
the PC (around 7 or 8 years old) I decided to make wireless, so that no matter....

Belkin Pre-n Wireless Router And Macbook Pro C2d
Why can't I get the speed to 108? (3) Ok, here's the situation. I've got a Belkin wireless 802.11n (pre-n) router and it works
fine with it's own card in my Dell laptop. 108 Mbps all day long but I can't seem to get
that kind of speed with my MBP C2D. I just downloaded and installed the $2 firmware update
today and it's showing up in network utilities so I know it's active. I just changed the
Belkin to 802.11g only thus giving b the boot. So, according to the software manual, it now will
support g and n. What can I do to get the n speed with this thing? Thanks.....
Wireless Computer Remote Power Button - Using A Doorbell
using an ordinary wireless doorbell [PC MOD] (3) Credit: original idea inspired by Marsupial at GIDEONTECH (at least that was the first place I saw
in 2003) HTPC (Home Theatre Personal Computer) has been a rising idea back in 2003. Still today,
not many people are investing in HTPC. People think they might have HTPC of their own but I am
talking about the real HTPC--one that you can treat it like your DVD, VCR or Home Threatre surround
sound system. What really makes HTPC? There are several components that truly makes an ordinary PC
to HTPC. From time to come I will be making complete posts of my HTPC. But the very c....
