Very nice tutorial. I just used it myself because my laptop has been a bit slow lately and it seems to have helped. I figured as long as I was doing that I mine as well clean it up a bit. So I uninstalled some programs I don't need anymore and deleted old, and unimportant files to clean up some space. Now I just gotta defrag it later today and I'll be good to go. I have been annoyed with all the programs starting up when my computer started and now they are finally gone. Thanks a lot.

Defragging is awesome, REMEMBER though that any of those Defrag programs you see that proclaim to boost your comps speed... dont use them. I used to have http://www.diskeeper.com but, my computer crashed and I had to re-format. So i tried it again with deskkeeper and it crashed a second time. So i had to re-format twice in a row. Now my third time I used the default de-fragger that came with windows, it hasnt crashed since........ so make a good choice, default is usually better. Learn from experiance

Thanks, this was really needed, my computer was super slow before i tryed this! thumbs up! for this, my computer is 10* faster now

Nice tutorial, I kinda remembered about this from before,. But I wasn't sure on all the details, also, Im happy now, I have alot of "useless" applications on my computer, it takes me about a minute before everything is loaded. ><;

Very nice tutorial. It is simple to understand and the graphics help a lot, except for me. I am still running Windows 98SE But keep up the good work anyway, and maybe I will catch up soon.

kinda stupid tho, this sometimes doesn't work. Yesterday i was fixing my aunts computer and i tried to tye msconfig. But it just gave an error, probably the kind of computer she has. Its a Pakkard Bell (a dutch thing if i'm not mistaking).
