Blank Images - (white Square W/red X) - FTP uploaded images don't display

I, on my website, have employed a page to upload files on my website. But I'm having problems
using it. When the file is uploaded to the 'temp' directory of my account, and when I use
the function 'move_uploaded_file()' to move this file into the actual directory, it returns
the error move_uploaded_file(ABD.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied
move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpF5SqzC' to 'ABD.jpg' please help me
what should now I do with this.. I also tried changing the mode of the 'temp' directory to
7...

When I upload images to my site via Cutenews, I notice they don't align flush with either the
left or right border. They seem to be off by just a pixel or two and I don't know how to fix it.
This is a recent phenomenon and wasn't a problem before the cpanel upgrade. Here's an
example: http://vivianbritton.com Take a look at the "It's Friday....So What?" news entry, and
note how the image is not flush with the left border. Then scroll down to the Willie Nelson entry
and you'll see images aren't flush on the right either. How do I remedy this...

Well i just got my site hosted and i wasable to add my stuf to the ind manager, but the site didnt
work without the images and i coudlnt find out how to add images...

Help? I've uploaded all of the html files and css files into the public_html folder , but the
css isn't taking effect. I've checked both the css and te html files , nothing wrong with

all right i realy did not know where to put this but you guys no how if i where to make my own font
lets say the name is "fake" and i wanted for my website to display all it's i content using the
font "fake". but as you all may know that the user must have that font in their computer but i made
it myself so they wont have it. is it posible to upload this font to my server and like connect it
in someway. what i mean is find a way to use that font with out the user needing it. or is this
imposible....

Am I allowed to upload images onto my site using a gallery mod. I have done so already, and I was
wondering if this was allowed. I don't care about BW, since my site is unpopular right now....

hello guys!, i was trying out with the subdomain options and also installed a board in one of them,
the problem is that when loading from the subdomain images from my domain or the server path, they
just dont load, any ideas on this matter? it was a smf board, strangely it happens just with images
but no with code......

I had a quick question. i Uploaded a PHP file to my file manager and i just had a problem finding
the URL of my newly uploaded PHP file......my domain name is www.coocoocheezy.trap17.com After

Just discovered something. I was having issues with my graphics not displaying for some people
when they visited my site. After much consternation, I decided to investigate my cPanel settings.
I had activated my "Hot Link Protection" but hadn't checked the box to "Allow direct requests".
For some reason this affects the display in some cases. I don't know why, but since I have
checked that box, the problem seems to have been solved. Hope this helps others. Moving to

Cpanel is taking an unusually long time to load, and when it does load, all the images are missing.
If I right click -> view image on any of the missing images (which show up as a blank square with an
icon in the top left), I get this: The image

because it contains errors. as an example of one. Some images, however, do load, but because most
others don't, pages take an extremely unbeliavable amount of time to load (more than 5 minutes
on my T1 connection)...

when i try to open my website it just says that the site is hosted by trap17 and its functioning

Hi all, Heres the latest in the browser display problems. Updated my homepage via ftp. -(deleted the
old home page in the "www" & "public_html" folders & the ROOT directory "_sgt" & "_sgg"
folders..before ftp'ing the update). Verrified that all new homepage updates had the correct
"last modified" date (ie. the server was showing the newest version I just updated in all file
folders which were previously deleted). Homepage uses HTML with CSS & tables only- no php or

I have installed PHP-Nuke from the Addon Script section but after I installed it, and clicked on the
website it gives me a blank screen. I went to the file manager and the index for PHP-Nuke is 0kb. I

Hi all, Just a minor problem, The image I chose to use in my forum signature doesn't display
when I go back to view my posts. It just shows as a blank white box w/ red X in it. I'm 95%
certain I used the correct syntax to code it into the signature. Uploaded a image to the root
directory of my hosted website at trap17. Does where the image is hosted make a difference?? Any

How can we set it up so that all of our graphics are displayed directly to the right of our content,
