| | Right, I think you may have guessed by now that I'm not keen on Big Brother. I just don't see why we watch it when we all have neighbours. If I wanted to watch people talking then I'd watch politics. But I have better things to do then watch some gays arguing for hours. I suppose if you lke stuff like that, you might as well just go and watch hours of CCTV footage, cos there's more happening there. Anyway, I'm fed up of being angry so I'm going to go and watch Bi.., the dinner cooking. So, who else hates the house of chavs and anti-socuials (a.k.a - Big Brother - what number is it now? - 4? 5? 55? ) |

Hi, I'm gonna be completely honest and open here: - I absoloutley hate big brother. I think it is the worst, most painstakingly boring tv series ever. I have no idea why people want to watch a bunch of gays and freaks living in a house for a while. If u want to watch this sought of thing then try going to the zoo for the day... Itīs an awful program. I suppose there are some big brothers better than others as long as they do it in a lot of countries. All I can say itīs that spanish edition may be considered as a way of terrorism against education... and I could say that this kind of programs are degradating society even more than already was. When you donīt see them you canīt undestand why people see them but I saw the first edition (like 5 or 6 years ago) for a period and you get addicted. Itīs sad but it was a period whe I spend mornings at house doing nothing until I had to go to university. But the tv reality in singer contests are even more terrible. When the program ends we have to hear that horrible albums that they make.

Might as well be honest, but i like this one. I havent watched any of the ova Big brothers, simply because its a boring concept. The only reason i've got into this one is because my girlfriend watches it, so i just started watchin it wiv her. I mean yeh, all it is is people just living in a house, doing tasks etc, but the best bit about the program is the arguing, *BLEEP*ing, and moody housemates. I mean watching Craig (gay) try it on with Anthony (straight) and fight like a married couple this year was f**kin hilarious. Character Clashes are what makjes the program watcheable. Now don't get me wrong, i only watched the summary type programs on Channel 4, not the Live shows, as they are boring. . . . p.s Anthony won

I think it's a wonderful show. Even though I haven't watch it, I think it will really be a heat here in the Philippines. It's called Pinoy Big Brother, here's the website http://www.pinoybigbrother.com it's I think a little-modified version of the original Big Brother, they modified it so that it won't be that boring.

So who could like it? I watched it for about 10 mins on E4 (a channel practically dedicated to the damn show) and they were doing the most exciting thing. One was opening a drink's can and the other was lying on a sofa. But here's the best part .... they were having a conversation with each other. Isn't that exciting? And god knows how many days it was into the series Day 57 or something. Do people really take pleasure in watching people doing nothing? I can see people being interested in C4's summary programs but not E4's, which just shows them doing anything (sitting, drinking, eating, cooking etc). I watched a program that took the mickey out of Big Brother once. It was hilarious. It was called Big Bother and it's an episode in the series of programs called The Basil Brush Show. If you hate BB you should watch it Also watch the language in this thread, I see the bad-word filter already has had to be used... Edit: Added Big Bother Info

I can honestly say I've never watched the show, and from the way the people who do watch it are talking about it, I don't think i want to see it...well i dont think id want to watch most reality shows..they're becoming redundant, cheesy and pointless...they should've stuck with the ones that worked..everyone cant cash in with a reality show and they need to stop trying

I'm so glad it's finished for another year .... it completely dominates Channel 4's scheduling for months .... can't wait for the cricket season to be over .... then all will be well again .....

That's so true. They seem to be promoting how Big Brother is simply a depiction of how society acts - and that people enjoy watching this behaviour, so to speak. However, there seems to be a very high degree, of, say, sexual interaction between housemates which in itself is not an accurate depcition of the real world. I guess you could say this is due to the housemates themselves, which are essentially from a singular demographic. People who have proper jobs probably can't just go and take a month off to participate on a television show? (Unless your boss is just that damn nice.) Reality Television is cheap and annoying enough as it is, but Big Brother is just the epitome of bad television. A complete and utter waste of time, in my opinion.

Looks like most of the big brothers are bad, good thing i don't have a channel like that!! If you ask me if i like movies like that, i say i hate it, but i never seen one!! haha! i was lucky,lol

No i don't like big brother. In belgium the it's kind of pornish. I mean, you see people having sex on TV...how lame's that? Little kids watch it too you know. They show girls/boys taking their bath or having sex on tv, man, that's messed up. They should just make it a "porn movie" instead because that's what it is. I've never watched it to the end...i just get bored and turn the chanel...it's not that popular over here though...at least not with the french speaking people.

There's already a big brother here in the philippines and it's called pinoy big brother. I admit I wantch it sometimes and I know all the "housemates" names but all in all I think the show sucks. It's bad! Just like watching Jerry Springer!

Freaking Cheap Pos Hard Drives
A.K.A: Western Digital (3) I've had nothing but trouble with my western digital hard drives. First, my good 80 gig Caviar
just started acting up, its giving me weird noises, and my computer freezes every 5 minutes, but

Buying Pc's Over Internet
Argh! (11) Here's the story... (almost a soap) My old pc died like 2weeks ago, when I ordered one over the
internet. They delivered it rather quick, within 5 days but the problem is... It worked only the day
it came. It began with the blue screen about vxd components and now not even 7 days later it
won't even boot properly, it won't even boot at all! Now I got to wait till they bring
another new system (free) wich will take almost another week. Argh! So after this is over, I
will just go to a store and buy my stuff there, on internet only god knows what they....
Too Much Work

How my computer drives to make me mad (20) I really hate how slow my computer can be somtimes, I also hate it when I try to use Ad-Ware to
clear it, it freezes! It worked for a while, then one day it frozed up while it was scanning.

People Not Respecting My Stuff
This Drives Me Insane (23) Well if you are like me you like when people respect your stuff and most of the time people do.
However, today was not a normal day. This neighbor kid (parents let him over he is a friend of my
family's kid) desides to go on my computer without asking and surfs the web. This really gets me
angry because first of all he respect my stuff enough to ask me, second of all most of the time this
stuff happens when I am home but I was gone today, thirdly I had to make sure there were no viruses
and stuff like that, and last I had to set passwords so this never happens again.....
