| | In my opiinion the best and most snazzy of them all is the ipod! its awsesome. you can put as many songs as you like on there,as much as you want in terms of movies and other stuff that you can take from pc to pc.
the only drawback is that you need a driver to be installed on every pc you want to use it on. so its a part of the apple cult. too bad about that.
other than this its design ios great and modern and it looks cool and sounds good!

I own a 20 gig iPod. I really love it too. Many people tried to convince me out of getting an iPod because they were "overrated", but I got one anyway and I just love it. iTunes makes it really easy to transfer over your music too.

My favourite is the Zen Micro and the others in the Xen 'series' I just like their look much more than the iPod.

for the ipods, can you upload songs from a cd into it or do you have to buy the songs from the apple site or something?

In my opinion, the most beatiful mp3player is the iPod. It also has the most functions and seems to be the most-sold-player. But It is too expensive in my opinion. Here in Germany you get an iPod 20 Gig for 379 Dollars/Euros, but a Zen Micro with also 20 Gig for around 200 Dollars. It isn't as beatiful as the iPod, but the capacity is identical. That's the reason why I hae a Zen Micro, too.

I like the I-pod best. When that fails, I pop out my clie, download some tunes from music.download.com free and legally, and listen away. Really awsome.

Ipod rocks, it's the most popular and even has a fan club or something like that even though it's a little bit expensive but it's worth buying

To answer your question: You can upload the songs from a Cd to your ipod, you can buy them online, and you can even put your mp3's on the ipod as well.

Media Player For Ubuntu
What are the choices? (6) I am looking for a skinnable media player for Ubuntu. (www.ubuntu.com). Its a Linux distro. I have
tried VLC, which is very good but there are 2 problems: 1) It cannot be skinned 2) When used with
Beryl, it does not show any video or visualisations. I have heard of XMMS and will be downloading

Windows Media Player 11 Visualization
oddly poor performance (13) My windows media player 11 has seemed to have developed a problem. Well actulally it has always been
doing this. I am running a P4 (2.8GHz with 512 ram, 64MB vram), and when I try to activate the
visualization in WMP 11 all it is horribly slow and pixelized. I would guess about 5 fps Normally I
would just accept this and keep saving for a new computer but the second that there is something
covering even part of the visualization screen, it ups it's performance. If you put a separate
window over the vis screen (even the slightest corner of a window) the performance up....

Anyone have the code? (9) Hey, I was looking around on MySpace to see if they had a particular song with a player that you see

Ipod Not Working, Need Help
(15) Not sure if this is the right forum, but I didn't see anywhere else for it... Ok, my girlfriend
got a 4 GB iPod Nano about a month ago. She had about 100 songs on it and one day they just
disappeared. Her normal PC won't recognize that she has the iPod plugged in, and her
stepdad's laptop will recognize it... But after she transfers all the songs, and she unplugs the
iPod from the laptop, she loses all of her songs again... She talked to an apple guy, but they said
she needed to do a system restore on it, but they didn't tell her how... And she can't ....

My Ipod Is Randomly Skipping Songs, Losing Data,
regaining data, and freezing (21) This morning I was going to listen to some music, so I got my iPod, turned it on, and it reset (I
hadn't had it plugged in for a while). When I got to the music, it would go through half of a
song, then skip to the next. After doing this a couple times, it would just skip entire songs.
It'd skip six or seven, then do half of one, then skip six or seven more. Later I looked on the
internet for some ideas, so eventually I tried resetting it again, as instructed. This worked for a
little bit, but then it started skipping over songs again. I reset again, and it lost....
