Best OS for gaming?

Hi There!

I think the best OS 4 Gaming is Win98SE or WinXP, but the better choce is Win98SE, cuz u can use trueDOS with it.

I'd agree with the others, of course. Win98SE is by far the best.

I have windows 98 and I agree it is the best for gaming. I love all those classic old dos games, thats why I have a windows 3.11 computer which runs games with the sound

Does anyone know when it is going to be published pubically?
Btw, the thing with Win98 is that it sometimes hang when your game is too "heavy", XP however has very little encounter with this hang time.

Windows 98se is great at playing old games, xp is great at playing new games. why not dualboot your system and have both?

Win XP Pro
but thought hardware support could b more important nowadays...as Microsoft still havent launch for next OS gen...

XP works great for me. It can play XP-compatible games while having 95/98/2000 compatibility mode to play old ones.

    making sure i could give super cheap gaming servers and still make a provit. The way is bye brand
    new computers. BUt i need to know what is the best i can get for my money. i charge $500 a year
    for a 32 slot gaming server so they save $700 but i am still trying to make $200 that
    doesn't go to the computer so i get some money out of it. so i am asking you what is the best
