I recently ordered one for a friend who wanted me to build him a pc. This beauty runs any game in the world. It even looks beautiful... I almost cried when I saw it. You can see details about the card here http://www.ati.com/products/RadeonX1800/ If you want an ATI card, take the X1800 posted by sangdukseo ^ If you prefer an NVIDIA card, you should consider the GeForce 7800 GTX These are the best you can, for now ;-) Cheers!
Yeah, the ATI is supposed to be release but you'll be lucky to find one.
The GF7800 buy two and make an SLI setup, nothing can beat it...
wow...ati X1800XL is a lot of money....money may come to be an issue when you're spending as much for a graphic card as you can get 2 fast PC's without graphic cards.
It also depends on what you are going to use it for. If you need a high-end workstation video card - choose something from NVidia quadro series which also might cost you up to $2000. If you are interested in playing the high-end games on maximum settings with all effects and stuff - you must think of NVidia SLi systems which can consist of 2 GeForce 7800GTX OC 512Mb each from manufacturers like BFG and ASUS.
i at the moment use nvidia geforce 4Ti 4600 works ok i need better tho... Make sure you also have enough ram in your system to compliment the graphics card... Well have fun buying the stuff i want lol... QUOTE Overview & Features Radeon® X1800 Series — Ultra-threaded 3D Architecture for Maximum Visual Velocity This is it. The new ATI card are too much expensive, so if I would you I would choose Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX and spend the rest of the money for something else.
By the nvidia dual core 256 or 512 ITs worth the extra if you pc can handle it !
Latest EntriesI'll go with nvidia base cards, they are pretty smooth and reliable, since money is not a problem check out the 7800 series, they look sweet.
Yes, ATI is slow at getting their products out to the public but I like their products better than nvidia which is why I stay with them.
