| | i vote for firefox, it's opensource. you can edit the look and feel whatvere you want. If you're smart enough in coding, you may increase the performance of firefox. The scond, i choose opera, yaow, it is fast and i like the way they tell us how many percent have we download on every page... cool, and it's pop-up blocker is great also |

I cant choose between IE, Mozilla and Netscape. They're all good, each in its own way. Most of the time I use IE for its features. Netscape I use for testing my newly created pages and for ripping stuff. Mozilla for its speed and stability.

Firefox is kinda great but it doesn't allow me to do a lot of things that are coded on some pages only for IE so I am thinking of jsut switching back and forth.

A while back I somehow stumbled upon some Google-run blog, where I saw a post about the quote
unquote Google Browser. It looked interesting, so I downloaded it. After installing it, I found out
that it was pretty much just a Windows version of the command line Lynx browser (any old timers
here?) with a nice installer. It's interesting to browse with Lynx - no images, no JavaScript,
no CSS, just straight out text and form elements. I could barely imagine using Lynx for my
day-to-day browsing. Here's a screenshot of Gmail in Lynx:...
Text Mode Browser

Last year, I downloaded elinks, a text mode browser, but didn't put any serious use into it
until today. Some features that got my attention was QUOTE * It is text mode, meaning I can
run it when X won't start up, over a low bandwidth SSH link, or when I just don't feel like
looking at graphics. * More control over how pages are displayed. I very often don't like the
colour schemes that webmasters think are great, and in elinks, ignoring their choices is as simple
as pressing %. But if I do like the color, it lets me use it! * ECMAScript and ...

four mouse clicks away from a gui to a live mySQL database. Okay, so you have to count a
double-click as a single click, and I'm not including opening the folder, but that's still
not too bad. It easily fits on even the smallest of USB drives, and executes without fanf...
