I don't like norton. it slows down your computer and it takes forever. i like a sleek new zon alarm! i even went in an custimized it to fit my super human needs!!
Either way its an anti virus and if you have the time/want something your familiar with then stick with what you've got.

I use 2 firewalls :
The build in firewall in the NAT router (works good for incoming messages not for outgoing).
And on every conneted PC I use ZoneAlarm (free version) also .

Till now no problems detected.

in my opinion norton is a virus in itself!!! seriously - its almost impossible to unistall and as for virus protection it doesnt even come close to other free programs out there like adaware.

AVG & Adaware i would stress are the best programs.

Personally, I prefer Agnitum's Outpost Firewall. The free version is excellent. It has a little more of a learning curve than ZoneAlarm, but it gives you a LOT more control of access. I have been using it for over a year, and can honestly say its the best free firewall I've ever used.

All I'm going to say on this issue is the best firewall is NOT the Windows Firewall. I swear that was one of the worst things that Windows has created.

i was a great fan of zone alarm, but for some reasons, it blocks my bitcomet, so now i am using sygate firewall, it doesnt take lot of resource, yet powerful.

I think that Zonealarm is the best because it has a triple defense firewall which is handy as it tells you when a program is installing itself with a popup. I have used it for years and it has never let me down or slowed down my computer. It is also really easy to customise and it tells you when a program tries to connect to the internet.

I think ZoneAlarm is the best firewall too! but now I have already uninstalled it because I haven't do the risk activity when I go online so I think built-in firewall of microsoft windows xp is enough for me.
