I do but only if you do it yourself, it takes time to learn what everything means, but once you get the hang of it it makes great sense and is very accurate. The reason i say DIY is because everyone interprets and words things differently and astrology is very personal.

well i don't believe in horoscopes but i read the yahoo's one every day cause it says that I'm going to be the greatest every day marketing i guess, but it's a good boost for moral. i believe maybe in the descriptions for each sign, although i think they are made by psychologists other than astrologers.

astrology is more of a hoax but they help people in some way.

their are too many kinds of astrology, some will guide you, some will just make you realize something, some are there to contemplate your life's choices, and the most magical one: PREDICTING your future.

in our country, if there's a market then there will be astrology.

I personally give some credence to the ideas of astrology, but I believe it is more general than most people think. Instead of being a system of knowing when you're going to find true love, what type of job you're going to have, where/how you're going to get money, etc. etc., it's more a factor of one's personality. If you look at a site like astrofaces.com, you can compare the features of people with certain astrological correspondences and see that there is a similarity in their personalities, and the signs match up. So is there something to it? I believe so.

As far as science linking astrology and personality, I think it's possible, though I haven't studied it myself. The idea of all of these signs, that are related to positions of heavenly bodies, could have a magnetic effect on the brain (however slight) during the prenatal period. And the sign you're given when you actually pop out of mom (haha), is basically the end result of said influence. So you could see how there might be a physical idea behind astrology, as well.

Also note that there are different systems of astrology in the world: you have the tropical, sidereal, referred to respectively as Western and Vedic. Both of these have their merits and you can see some different qualities of a personality by looking at each and comparing similarities and dissimilarities. I'm not sure which I trust more, though. Under the Western system, my sun turns out to be Gemini, my moon Cancer, and my ascendant Sagittarius. Under the Vedic system, my moon sign switches to Gemini. Although, I've looked at the characteristics of the cancer moon sign, and seen some people that no doubt have its influence in their personalities, and I would say that I share some of their characteristics.

I do not believe it in as such.. But some of them are scientific... which even if i do not believe, i think its nice to have these things and so some things based on these. So, most of the time i tend to ignore all of them, but in cases where they are insisted by my family, i do not resists, but do it for the sake of doing it.

- Exactly what nowdays some collecty collect mobile phone numbers by asking people to sms them your name and your lover name to tell you whatever you are perfect couple. All they do harvest people mobile number and sell them.

You may have well asked the question do you believe in something based on absolutely no fact or actual explanation, no I do not beleive in it because it is wrong, it doesn't exist because it is impossible that a planet will affect you when earth is a planet and there is millions of planets over the whole galaxy, they don't fight they just orbit each other and the sun, forever end of , if you believe it and for this example I will say it "you are WRONG"

Let me inform you all astronomy stood up first in ancient india... India was the mother land then for the science.... Do you all know.. the histroy and avidences suggest that even in india civilization started off and science came up .. al the vedic science which is stil uder neath we dont know much... You know the other parts of world peoples led their life in jungle like animals.... So now its suggest that india was the land for the birth of science and modern tecnnology...
But the time dint want it.. So it was kept all under neat now... many scientist are finding out...
Same way the astrology is a pure science from india.... Even indians still now work and calulte future according to the stars.. it really has meaning.. But is u want to know the trust and understand this vedic indian science you really have to go into deap in vedic indian science.. you will not believe what you wuld be reading...
Even the size of atom was calculated in that time in india where those days all the other part human where in jungle... and that is te accurate value still recent moder tech could not find it.. Still we too dont know how would those have calculted that thing.. Really they were great. hats off to them and their generation...

Astrology is just a good way for Astrologers to make a lot of money. I mean how could stars or planets or constellations affect your personality? I think it's all just a big scam.
