| | I just registered a new domain but since it is my very first time and have not worked with domains before I'm wondering what I have to do to get the new domain to point at my website here at trap17.com. If somebody could give me a real basic roundup of how the process with DNS and nameservers works and what I need to do so that if i type www.myfancynewdomainname.com in the adressbar of my browser i get my webpage here at trap17.com that would be awesome. |

You should know by now (judging by your posting count) you should be familiar with our forum and its search feature. All answers are in Trap17 Readme but to close this topic here are quick instructions. 1) access your domain control and change nameserver to ns1.trap17.com ns2.trap17.com 2) you can then either park your domain to your hosting account or use the process page to change your domain name of your hosting account. The difference between parking and addon are located in the Host Members Area topic. Changing your hosting account to your domain name has no difference at all but at your personal preference. 3) wait between 24~72 hours for your nameserver change to be propagated, and your domain will be properly tied to your hosting account.

Spammers Using My Domain To Send Spam
(2) OMG ok, so i logged into my gmail account and shabam, 400 new messages, 100 to my inbox 300marked as

Sub Domain Problem : Urgent
Cannot access my sub domains (10) Hi, I am having some serious problems with my sub domains. I registered a site with trap17 named
http://zoebelkin.co.cc . Then I made 2 sub domains for the site. One is for the forums section
and the other is for the gallery section. 1> forums.zoebelkin.co.cc 2> gallery.zoebelkin.co.cc
Whenever I type these in the browser adress bar the browser gives an output that it cannot find the
web sites. But they are complete and should show something. Also using www. in front of the sub
domains didn't help. Is www. needed in front of the sub domains. Could you just....

can anybody help me with this? I have no idea what to put in the domain manager, but when i try a

price for purchasing the domain name, but then there is a transfer price. I have never bought a

(5) hey all, it was about one hour ago that my website stopped working, apart from my home page which
is 30 bytes and not even proper html (a temp page). around 15mins later, a200 noticed he had the
same problem. then, the cpanel stopped working, followed promptly by the ftp. when i try to access

(0) Is it possible to use co.cc as an actual domain? www.co.cc offers free url redirection and dns
service. It's like uni.cc But when I tried to use add-on domain to add it, I get the following

(13) mmm i started the process about 2 hours ago, and nothing.. my cpanel is transfered but 1.the
credits havent been taken off 2.this keeps showing up on all the pages: Not Found The requested URL
/1.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while

Domain Change Problems
(2) Hey. Today I decided to change my default domain to a subdomain; I kinda needed a personal website
but I don't have the time to spend 5 hours waiting for the Uni.CC name servers to set up.
Anyway, I collected a couple more hosting credits to that I had enough to change it, and changed my
default domain to http://minik.trap17.com/ . It changed my new domain to go to my public_html
directory and I checked and the addon domains were still working. I got annoyed at having so many

Really Important Question! (8) My friend, Sabina, has a domain(www.binaland.com). She hosts her files on one of her friends hard
drives somehow for their online use. He has some static IP thing or something like that. But her
problem comes to be that his drive always crashes and she has to reload everything back up there. So
